IGN have announced Fire Emblem DS.
A remix of some of the Fire Eblem(s) on the NESand SNES.

I hope you don't mind me necroposting, but I don't think it's necessary to create a whole 'nuther topic just to say that I'm really excited about this. It's no wonder it was decided to put Marth in SSMB; it'll get players more curious about wanting to play his newly coming game.

On another note, I like the new direction they've taken with the graphics in this game. The more colorful anime style was pretty, but I don't think it completely fit with the dark, politic-heavy story lines of many of the Fire Emblem games. I like this slightly more down-to-earth realistic approach they are taking with the graphics.

On another note, I'm also glad to hear that they are going to make good use of the DS's wifi capabilities for this game. I'm salivating over the concept of playing other players across the world!
