The idea has occured to us before, in our long 3+ year history. There's a little section called "The World of Endilith" around. It was an original RP made by Pacum Challet and Jaken Veina, a prominent spriting and mugging expert familiar with many Fire Emblem sites (including FEP.) Although, he has retired. ninj4

The last RP idea we had completely flopped, basically. If we do try the idea again, it would have to be hosted directly on these forums. It would have to be something we could all agree on, perhaps some "popular videogame RP" with a few modifications.

Golden Sun? I don't feel like having a GS RP.
What about an RP based on the Roc's Nest? :P No, I'm serious.

This would be my character:

Name: Fiore' (aka. Los Enucius)
Age: 23
Hair: Blonde-white
Eyes: Hazel
Appearance: thin, deathly skinny, tall stature; unkempt, stringy hair, not too short, not too long
Clothing: jet-black suit with swallow tail and gold buttons; crimson, satin shirt; black necktie, knee-high boots, lavender girl's ribbon (clipped on hair)
Personality: One should say Fiore' is an amiable, generous man who should, in no way at all be dangerous due to such a happy-go-lucky, carefree attitude. However, under that exterior he effortlessly upholds lies much fear and apprehensiveness. Should you have Fiore' as a companion, know your life is in good hands. But is his own?
Battle techniques: Fiore' has no match in kickboxing, and as such, also has excellent jumping and dodging prowess. He simply is like an elastic pencil: too thin to get a shot at, too flexible to hit. In addition to these arts, he carries two handguns inside his coat which he prefers not to use. His motto is "When having defeated your enemy, and he is unconscious, buy him a cheeseburger, fries, and an ice-cold lemonade for when he wakes up. This is 'thanks' for a battle well-fought, no?"

Fiore', huh? ;P

Well, yeah, of course, it'll be here. How would we get more active by putting it somewhere else? :P

It'd probably be easier for us to use stats from Fire Emblem, simply because it's a lot simplier than Golden Sun's. A.k.a, we don't want things going triple digits. That just makes things way too complicated. XP

We'll need like unique clases, and stats, which I could help with and hopefully some of you guys, too.

What I'm not sure about is the story. Or if there should even be one, like at FEF for example, there isn't really much of a story to the main RPG, though they are trying to implement one.

Nope. No story. RPers are responsible for their own stories.

Use stats? As in... compare numbers? Ychh... how on Earth will we manage that, Dae-chan? You have a write-your-own battle system in mind, don't you? If so, statistics aren't really necessary, and they'll definitely create controversy if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I'm all for an RP sort of idea. Sounds like it could be fun! I could help, but I don't know what I'd do.

@Sui: Ah, good idea. =D Players making their own stories will give them more of a reaosn to be active.

And, no not really. ^^; But, I think I've seen enough to hypothesize what works the best so we can have everything balanced from the start. And if not we can always adjust things a bit. And it'll be easier for us since there's only a few of us and the forums sorta dead. XP
