It appears to be a preview for a remake of Evangelion. Is it? If it is, I might see this one because I've never seen the first.

Its a 4 part movie series called rebuild of evangelion, which retells the story with some changes and a new ending. I really want to see it, even though it looks like they are using a lot of CG for the animation, which takes a lot of the life out of it -_-.
Also, go watch the original series. NOW.

nothing beats the original Eva movie(The End of Evangalion)

though the last 2 episodes were confusing( i was told it is shinji's mind through the events of the movie when he went insane from his mental breakdown).

Hey Brendor...that angel is actually a fan made angel. Apparentely, Gainax held an angel creation contest and the winner (as seen in your picture) got his angel put into promotional art.

And as for the rebuild of Evangelion, there's no news on whether it'll head overseas. In any case, we're going to be waiting for quite a while. I pray that we get a piece of that action, but it probably won't ever make it into theatres in the US.
