Ok first, Welcome to Keane's poetry topic where he will post his own little poetry whenever he writes it up. Now this is my best poem thus far. Unfortunatly due to terrible events to my computer I am unable to correct any spelling errors and such in it currently so ya. Bear with me. Now I know I don't write the best either, I know I can't compare with some of the writers we have here on the nest but I am hopeing from some feedback and crits at least. Thank You. Anyway Enjoy.

The first poem was inspired by a picture a friend of mine created. Her name is Kayleen/lordofnightmares. She doesn't go here but I need to give her credit all the same XP. The Picture is Linked Below in the Poem's Title. This poem is a is a quatrain with four stanzas and alternating ryhme scheme.

Misty Solitude

I am the girl of the mist.
Wandering alone in this endless fog.
Peacefully and quietly I wander.
Crying, confused from life's cogs.

The twilight star, burning so sadly.
Dimly lighting the lonely mist.
Revealing the lonely shadow of this place.
I float here, all alone, crying madly.

The humans outcasting me so violently.
Harming me without care or sympathy.
I lye there, bleeding and bruised, on the ground.
In my sea of fears, of pain, and of sorrow, i will drown.

Hideing here in the mist, safe from the world.
I live as a shadow, wrapped up in the mist.
I wander aimlessly, empty of happiness and without a fist.
I cry and cry, all alone, in my misty solitude.

*Sits in your lap*I seen this one before!

I know sweety XP :heart: but the others of the nest have never seen it before. So I will share it with them and hopefully not embrass myself in the process-pets her-

*Purrs*Its the internet, hard to truely embarrass yourself.

Like I said it was based off the picture and no Kaleb I ain't going goth. -shudders- anyway. It was intended to be very sad.

Yes, as I may have stated the poem I have up there is my first by far. I don't know if I will ever be able to make anything better than that. I have a second poem that relates back to this one, but locating it is rather difficult.

Like I said. I would have if I had the proper program to do so which I didn't. Maybe if you payed a little more attention to what I would have posted above the poem you would have known. That and I am to lazy to fix it by hand like that.

aren't we all lazy i thought the point of coming to a site was to be lazy and have an excuse to not do homework.....or is that the my dog ate my homwork excuse that people say i forget which :biglaugh:
