Title: Not Just Radio
Description: Ideas for the next phase of the site

Well, it seems that the Aerie on Air show XXX went well. However, I’ve been brainstorming lately and it struck me that I need something that will draw me back to website building. For that reason, I’m thinking of redesigning the skin for Aerie of the Roc. I’m thinking that the traditional red should come back. And while I’m at it why not go a little farther? I’ll listen to others’ opinions on this, but I’ve recently been debating changing the site’s name. Not a major change mind you, but something to make the content of the site more associated with Golden Sun. I mean, come on. “Aerie of the Roc,” doesn’t sound very “Golden Sunny.” For that reason I’m going to propose “Mars Lighthouse: Aerie of the Roc.” I find it doubtful that any work will be done by me for at least several weeks when the fall semester finally ends and Christmas rolls around. But then maybe I’ll have a clearer picture of what direction I’d like to direct the site. Until then, keep in mind that the Aerie on Air show XXXI will be delayed two weeks until after Thanksgiving break.

Well, Marlin, we don't really talk about Golden Sun here much anymore. I don't see a need to change the name. I guarantee you that some members are not going to like this, as many of us have grown attatched to the rocs nest, not mars lighthouse. Or are you thinking of keeping the rocs nest and just changing the main site?

Well, I think a lot of us know that the sequel for Golden Sun may not show up anytime soon. So I think AotR should maybe have some content on other games, instead of dying out like the rest of the Golden Sun sites lately. Hopefully it won't, mind you. However, I do not think that you should change the name of the site, because I'm sure that many of the members would not like that decision.

You both are absolutely right. (last two posts)
I don't like it. Despite the fact that we hardly ever talk about Golden sun anymore, the aim of the site should still stay Golden Sun, mixed with few other games whose popularity is slowly rising. You need at least one Golden Sun site to at least keep the star glowing a little, or it will be forgotten completely.
What happened to Fire Emblem? I'm doing a walkthrough, Marlin! Content! I'll go faster if you really need me to.
I personally don't like red, period. There's nothing you can do to change that. Its all right, of course, as the red site wasn't what attracted me here in the first place. The color is up to you.
Oh, and Windseer, I don't think Marlin is changing the name of the Roc's Nest. Just Aerie of the Roc.

Good. I would have protested that a bit.

The real place to discuss the name change is down in the general section (there's a poll right now). The skin change might be discussed here, but I'm actually going to go into a different topic right now.
For quite some time I've been wanting to get back into sitebuilding. That said, I have little to do at the moment. I've been far too busy to write walkthroughs (unless I cut some stuff out of my schedule). Also, ikillkenny has given me permission to use his walkthrough as well as abridge parts into my own.
Now begins the part that I want to mention to everyone for the first time. I've been thinking of starting an anime fansite devoted to one of my foremost passions right now: Elfen Lied. If you are 16 or older and you haven't seen this anime (and you're not offended by blood and nudity) I really suggest you check this out. The storyline is just awesome. I won't say more.
Having seen several Elfen Lied sites go belly-up in past five months has made me sick because of the lack of energy being put forth. For that reason, I am seriously considering webmastering more than one site. However, the problem arises with time constraints. I'm not getting paid very much to do this (yes, the ads are finally starting to add up). Beyond that, I'd like to regain some of my personal energy I lost after the Lost Age hype died down. If anyone would like to discuss this topic with me I'd be very happy to continue the conversation. Thank you.

Heh, I just finished watching it with my roommates last night. If you make a new site with a forum, I will definitely join. This anime is amazing. The artwork is some of the best I've seen, the characters are very well developed, and the plot is deep. I love it.

To me, it seems like a good idea to add in more items, so I am behind you whatever you do. Considering I originally was introduced to this site by someone when the clans started going, not for Golden Sun. Anything I can do to help, just let me know!
