it will be a little difficult since the RD is for March 31st 2006 but I think it will be a great game when it come out.

it wouldnt win anyway. Resident Evil 4 would and will win with out a doubt.

It's not going to win game of the year for 2005 because it won't be released until 2006 as DJA pointed out.

However, I think there were many good games released for 2005 besides Resident Evil 4. It's sad that only the M games get the hype and Golden Sun, the best RPG of all time (yes, better than FF7) gets buried and forgotten. :cry:

Um...you aren't serious, are you? Golden sun...doesn't even come close to the best rpg of all time. I mean, it was all right, but I can think of a number of rpgs that were much better off the top of my head. The characters lack depth and the plot is only semi-decent, so it was hard to really connect with the game, which is why it is somewhat forgotten.

hey Marlin is right final fantasy is a good Rpg game but Golden sun is a Rpg game that is really good it's a game that gives rpg players a good felling when they play it so Golen sun will maybe win i think but final fantasy has a bigger chans winnig that is true

Neither GS or FF will win... There weren't any especially noted FFs that came out this year, that I know of, and neither GS game came out this year. I've never played RE4, still, because the Hollywood Video me and mah family go to doesn't have it anymore. (some employee took it home and just kept it) The only games I've gotten this past year are Wario Ware: Touched! and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. I really have no clue which games are likely to win. (except maybe RE4, cuz everyone seems to love it) But I can definitely see Twilight Princess winning game of the year 2006, hands down.

i dunno, im thinking FF12 will have a good chance as well as Devil may cry4 and God of War 2.

Naw. I wasn't REALLY serious about GS being the best of all time. But it's certainly high on my list of all-time greats. I certainly think that the general gaming community underrates it. And then I think that everyone else overrates other games. '-_-

well some of it is factual, GS: TLA did have the best graphics for the GBA, and was voted best RPG for it as well.

Well, graphics don't really mean that much, and its one of the only rpgs for gba, at least ones that were original.

I think Zelda has the potential to be best game 2006, but some crappy a** GTA game will probably come out and everyone will be like "omg I r shoot hookers!111!1111!11" and that will get best game :dry:

well this year GTA:SA came out this year, and im pretty certain it wont win seeing as people are still talking about games like RE:4 and God of war. RE:4 came out in freakin january, and no one will beable to beat it! best RE game or game with guns ever.

Gta sand andreaas is a god game it's fun the only bad thing whit the game is that when you played a while it becomes a lithel boring :bigsad:

see? RE:4 both has better graphics, gameplay, story. its superior in eveyway, except sucking beyond belief.

it's hard to decide. i'm a pretty big zelda gamer, i gotta say that zelda is up there with the rest of those 'hit titles'. but, twilight princess hasn't even came out yet. so...we'll just wait and see

My other all time favorites are Super Metroid and tLoZ:OoT. I also like Super Mario Sunshine a lot, because of its very happy theme.

im still kind of angry that the release date was pused back so far, to march 31st....but they say it will be greatly improved, and for that reason alone i can wait.

I could never get the hang of resident evil, hated the controls and story. And GTA just gets annoying with me and the thing of EVRYONE at my school always talking about it and how its so cool and better than all nintendo games. There is NO ONE ta my school that i know plays golden sun. i just dont get how one of the greatest rpgs ever just isnt known around my place. But back to the topic i think zeldas great how youv got the fishing again (i got hooked on the fishingplace in ocarina of time for a HELL of along time lol). But we all know as great as it is some daft shoote game like a new GTA game or halo 3(dont know when thats coming out) is gonna end up beating it as every one overrates them. I mean think, zelda when you finihsed it, there was still millions of things to do afterwards and you wouldstil want to go back and do parts again, but when you play halo, i only found it good the first run through, didnt like playing it again, found it boring then but the multiplayer was goos but hat was all that was left and that got boring to when youv beat or lost to all your friends lol.

I completed Lotz Twilight princess and I didn't like it one bit,the gameplay was sloppish,storyline was all mixed up and scatered and the ending was rubbish.
Oh,the fishing,oh my god,no wonder I hate fish fingers.

I thought it was great, the story was well set and the graphics were wonderful. The dungeons and world satisfied me well too, and the controls were nice and intuitive. The only few problems I had was that the bosses were, as usual, too easy. That kind of thing kills climaxes. Ol' whats his face was a fairly satisfying boss fight because it stayed so frantic and drawn out and the music was very good as well. Zant, thats who he was. The Ice Temple Boss was great too, and the Dragon Boss looked cool, but thats about it. Only other prob was there weren't enough after game rewards, hidden goodies, and challenging off quests, killing my re-play value after beating. But, since it was a long game, I wont crap my pants over it.

Eh,I wanted to see the ending even though it was a dissapointing game. :lol:
