I've finally figured out how the Devil's Arms work. They don't boost the stats of your characters in the equipment screen at all! The attack rating only shows itself in battle! That's really inconvenient because then you can't tell if a certain Devil's Arm is the best weapon for somebody yet. XP

Devil's arms? Never heard of them. I never did a whole lot of extra stuff in ToS. I remember in FFV there was a weapon called Excaliper that claimed to be exellent in your stats, but was actually horrid. Sounds similar but sorta opposite.

Yes. It is almost exactly opposite. The devil's arms say that they are terrible for your stats, but if you've killed a lot of enemies with that character, they are awesome because the power level is equal to the number of enemies you kill. B)

Interesting... granted, I knew about the powering up, but I still wasn't aware that it didn't show on the screen. Kunasagi Blade if I'm in a slashy mood, Valkyrie Saber if I'm in a stabby mood. That's how it's always been.

Anyways, I hardly remember the locations, so I just don't bother with them anymore.

So do it. I did it. I just also didn't know that the stats only showed up in battle. I'm curious, is there anywhere to see how many kills a person has made? mah Lloyd must've made thousands :tongue: I always transfer monster battle data.

i transefer stuff as long as i have grade and i have powerd up the devil arm weapons and beat the guy who sent u on the quest to get them

My Lloyd can cause just a bit over 10k damage with one attack, if he attacks using Rising Phoenix, having equipped Neblim.

my lloyd can do about 3000 damage a blow in one file and about 4000 in another

When I play Lloyd and equip his Devil's arm it only does about 1500 damage. But that's because I stopped playing with him about halfway through the game. He was just too easy to play as. I wanted to make the game more challenging. That's why Sheena's Devil's arm is the best weapon for her. It can do almost 500 damage per hit. B)

the secret to get such high damage with the devil arms is to go fight in sylveriant with lloyd on his own its hard but worth it

I really don't like to use the Devil's Arms too much. I usually stick with the Kusanagi Blade.

why not sure thats his "ultimate weapon" but the devil arms are more powerful if u use them alot before u fight the guy who sent u on the quest
