I'm having a really tough time finding any good drawings/screens/images of Colette Brunel. :cry: You see, I want to make a good avatar of her. With as popular as ToS is, I can't believe how difficult this is going. #-_- If anyone can supply me with images or make up your own avatar for me, it would be greatly appreciated. B)

nothing too fancy... i'm not much of an avatar person, but they're fun to make.

I've not seen many around, but there are a few here. (Under Tales in the menu on the left.)

Marlin, Marlin!!! Use the first one that Dark made!! It's nice! Um... I don't have any pictures to post though... just an opinion.

i like that one too, and the last one. the other two are sorta not right for some reason... except for the MB symbol thinger in the seccond i came up with messing with fonts :P

Yeah, that first one is good, but it's just not me. I was hoping for something stronger or happier. Cute just isn't me. Take a look at the avatar of Lucy that I chose. B) If somebody can find any other Colette images (hopefully strong images of her) I'll be pleased. ^_^

By the by, Dark. Do you have the full-sized version of that first avatar image?

Maybe ill have a try, trust me the fonts won't be great so ill just provide you with a picture that I made then you can put the font on to finish, if that is you choose it.

Why'd you pick Colette anyway?

Well, let me tell you what I think of her.

She's the Chosen, and so she has to be strong and bear the weight of the world on her shoulders, but she's a Klutz. That's humorous in and of itself. Then, as I progessed through Sylvarant she reminded me of a non-psychopathic version of Lucy from Elfen Lied (for those of you who haven't seen Elfen Lied, I'm going to give some spoilers, so watch out. I'm also going to give some ToS spoilers to get my point across).

As Colette came closer to being an angel, she started losing her humanity in ways that would be devistating to most people. She kept strong, but she was inwardly tormented by it, just like Lucy.

At last, when she finally became an angel, I see that as the point at which Colette (somewhat) became the soul-less Lucy who knew nothing but the instinct of self-preservation and mechanical loyalties. Her humanity was gone until a friend (for Colette it would be Lloyd and for Lucy it would be Kohta) brought her back from the brink.

She's also darned cute, just like Lucy. But I see her as an extremely strong character. So far as I've played, I see her as the strongest character in the game (from an emotional standpoint). Sheena comes in a close second as far as that kind of strength goes.

Well there it is if you want anything else done on it just tell me and ill see what I can do. I didn't do your name because I wasn't sure which fon't to use, also I have no real good fonts.

Okay, yeah. That's a good one, but I'm not sure it's just quite finished, yet. Could you give me the full image of the avatar? I might be able to make it look even better. The contrast is a little messed up, but I know where this image is from, so that makes sense.

I think that someone should make one with each of them.
That way you will be able to pick one Marlin.

Hmmm. Has everyone given up on me? Oh well. If that's the case, I'll just have to make the avatar myself. Shouldn't be a problem. I've got a lot to work with now. B)

Until I get home from work tonight, I guess I'll just use the one that Ashes made for me. ^_^ I'll see if I like that one and then I can add text later. :ninja:

Well, I've made up my own. This one took almost five hours of nonstop work, but it was worth it. Sorry, Ashes, but I'm going a different direction.



If you want to know, it was crafted carefully from this image. I had to get that text box out of there, and it was a huge pain. #-_- Looks good, right? ^_^

I've only got PSP9 (Paint Shop Pro 9.0.1)
It's alright but by far not as good as Photoshop.
