Excalibur! It's the best weapon(in my opinion), and can be found at the smith's house, if you have him forge something from a piece of.. uh.. what's that stuff called again? Oh well.. it looks sort of like a brick of gold. A few tips:
1. Save before you give the forgeable item to him. This way you can restart if you do not get the item that you wanted.

You're thinking of Orichalcum. Sunshine only makes random stuff. Follow Isaac's advice and you'll get one eventually.

(as a side note, though) You can get many Excaliburs using this technique. It's actually the third best sword in the game with the Sol Blade being number two and the Darksword number one. Excalibur's unleash is more powerful than the Darksword's, though. The Sol Blade's unleash is the most powerful single attack in the game that isn't a summon.

But still! Excalibur's unleash can be more powerful than the Sol Blade's, if it unleashes 3 swords, which it will if you have quite a lot of luck and critical hit stuff.

The Excalibur, if it has a full unleash will cause more damage than the Sol Blade, even if it may only be with a small marigin. The Darksword's unleash, is about as powerful as Excalibur's weakest unleash.

You can get more from the Wonderbirds found in the Sea of Time islet cave (which I suppose you'll be getting to pretty soon). Use an RNG method so you do not have to waste so extremely much time.

Just one warning though! Be prepared for a challenge! Enemies in the Sea of Time islet cave are not easy. They can be quite a pain in the butt! Especially wonder birds, since they have three attacks per round.

And a little hint! If you ever meet two wonder birds, focus all of your attacks on one of them, and hope for the remaining one to revive the one you just took out. Then keep on taking one of them out, and making sure that one is alive all the time. You can almost keep on going like that forever, until one of them runs. In the end of the battle you'll wind up with quite a lot of experience! (about 9000*number of kills)

Holy crap! I am definietly going there! I know RNG pretty well, but it's sometimes hard to guess the enemies weakness.

hey issac wonder birds give out like around 8000exp each killing them and hoping for them to revive is usless

You're wrong Issac. Sometimes I get about 56,000 exp when I fight them, if I let them revive each other. I level up rather quickly when searching for Dark Matter.

how am i wrong i get like 50,000 exp from using a codebreaker so hahah

Well that sucks. I leveled my guys up to 99 using AR. (fighting one enemy)

sorry but whats with all birds anyway...since i just got into golden sun and only have finished the game once...i dont know.....and where do you get sol blade??(i think thats what its called?? and where do you get the orchilanium......(i dont know the name)
