Title: New Project In The Works

Like with Autocockers, half the fun of real guns is in getting to the final product. I've been needing a new project to work on, so today I picked up a $75 Yugo 59/66 barreled action. I'll update as I make progress, but basically I am going to build an SKS from scratch. Should be fun.

Tapco makes a really nice stock for them. You should do that.

Nah...I prefer to original wood on a Yugo. The T-6 (or Intrafuse, or whatever they're calling it this week) just seems overkill on an SKS. I will, however, be using a Tapco magazine for part of the 922®* compliance.

Is this something you picked up local or on-line?

The receiver was delivered today. Now to get busy on the actual building. *cracks knuckles*
I found a stock for it on Ebay...and sent it to my mother-in-law in response to her "What do you want for your birthday?" email. :D
