Thinking about getting one. Dont know much about them so please tell me about them.
brokenzipper - October 4, 2009 12:53 PM (GMT)
love em. starting out, a classic is cool. ULE body if you can, its cocker threaded. they are very are inefficient. high pressure gun, but very nice. (t) (t)
Hope JR tunes in, he has a beautiful mag.
fat_chinaman - October 4, 2009 01:19 PM (GMT)
Okay I have been reading up and the ULE Body is aluminum aswell as AC threaded like you said. Also the Classic Valve is made of stainless steel and all other valves are aluminum as well.
Also What do ULE Classic Mags go for. Ive seen them any where from 190-270. Is that about right.
terd_furgeson - October 4, 2009 01:44 PM (GMT)
a good condition ULE with match anno goes for 350-500ish .. Its a really volatile market on them. if you get a mag I would recommend ULE with x-valve/level 10.
I know that JR has a really nice mag. There are usually a lot for sell on MCarter
Cool body and rail I've never seen

If your getting one for a semi then I know they can get expensive like the x-mags. But as far as a pump mag, I believe they have one of the easiest pump strokes out there.
just my two cents,
matt

So how is the maintance for it. IE disassemble, trouble shoot, spare parts et cetera.
brokenzipper - October 5, 2009 11:30 AM (GMT)
the valve is the only "difficult" part of the gun. and by difficult, i mean it comes off with one thumbscrew, breaks down easy enough, and not many pieces to lose. Its basically a reg and valve in one. air goes thru reg, an dwhen you pull the trigger, its like popping a cork, the bolt goes forward and the ball comes out. depends on how fast you want to shoot as to which valve you want. slow/pump, classic is fine; faster, then RT valve; even faster, xvalve. mags are fun :)
fat_chinaman - October 5, 2009 06:01 PM (GMT)
I think Ill have fun with mine ;)
brokenzipper - October 5, 2009 10:00 PM (GMT)

brokenzipper - October 6, 2009 12:02 AM (GMT)
I had 2, ashamed i sold em both. JR got one of em. Ken had the other.
jolt00 - October 6, 2009 01:32 AM (GMT)
i have 4 working ones, 4 valves and 1 body. :) i love them!!!! it's probably the only simi i'm ever going to have and use.
when you getting back?
i will let you use/borrow any of mine. 1 rt with ULT and level 10, 1 pump, the others are classic. i don't have a UlE body yet. but it's enough to get the feel for one.

yeah, he will trade one of his masks for an x-mag. Some of them are worth that much.....
fat_chinaman - October 6, 2009 08:27 AM (GMT)
Ill be back for some winter ballin.
And I picked up a ULE Classic. I got it for 200 shipped after alot of haggling and sudden disinterest. I think the one thing that made me get it was that the Gas through would look good on my phantom. LOL
EDIT
I think i opened up a can of worms with this mag stuff.....
terd_furgeson - October 8, 2009 01:22 AM (GMT)
lvl 10/ x valve ??? ULE trigger???
fat_chinaman - October 8, 2009 02:32 AM (GMT)
Nope nothing special Jessie. But I may end up putting in a Lvl 10 / x valve when I pnue frame it.
terd_furgeson - October 14, 2009 02:23 AM (GMT)
I want itbut its too pricey although its prolly reasonably priced... what yall think
jolt00 - October 14, 2009 02:38 AM (GMT)
i like it :D price looks ok. would be better if it had a level 10 bold on it.
fat_chinaman - October 14, 2009 02:59 AM (GMT)

fat_chinaman - October 16, 2009 06:28 AM (GMT)
Sorry for not terd checking.
3DSteve - October 19, 2009 08:51 PM (GMT)
I own the sweetest shooting mag on the planet...walkable mech goodness. ULE, Xvalve, LvlX, ULT, IFrame. next time we get together, I'll have to bring it along. Tore just got a mag in at the field/store. Once I replace the sear and some Orings I'll send some pics.
fat_chinaman - October 20, 2009 10:52 AM (GMT)
awwwsnaappp. Its gonna be a mag off!!!
brokenzipper - November 24, 2009 12:35 AM (GMT)

just picked this up at action. emag valve, intelliframe, black teflon powerfeed right, lvl10 (i think). not sure what its all worth, but it was a good deal and what i was basically looking for. just need to sell the classic one i have coming in the mail... :(
jolt00 - November 24, 2009 03:54 AM (GMT)
ooh.. nice.
what now everyones getting a mag lol.
and you can tell if is a level 10 if the the powertube tip is a hex head, and the bolt is a little different kinda bevelved on the bottom side. or you could just stick you finger in there and see if the bolt resets. lol
and don't sell the classic make it a pump. :)
brokenzipper - November 24, 2009 10:26 PM (GMT)
making a mag a pump is cost counterproductive for me. I bought this one on credit from rodney. to pay it off when the classic is sold. this one even has on of the old school pro connect, quick disconnects :)
jolt00 - November 24, 2009 10:59 PM (GMT)
eh it's just money
(i need to get one of those disconects for mine, and a braided line)

fat_chinaman - November 25, 2009 04:13 AM (GMT)
Last time I checked Jessie you are in last place due to the fact that you don't have a mag yet. I'll trade you one for an mq2 valve. :)

lazarus - November 27, 2009 04:30 AM (GMT)
I see your Mag and Raise it a E-Mag
fat_chinaman - November 27, 2009 01:16 PM (GMT)
I bet jeff is shaking his head mumbling something about an arms race. Lol
brokenzipper - November 27, 2009 02:23 PM (GMT)
i know mine isnt an Emag, but soon it will have a pneumatic trigger. If my friend can find it and get it to me, free.. :) Ive already got the emag valve (same as x, but a hair heavier) and lvl10 bolt, all ill need is a tac one body, which ill get someday.
Ken, how quiet is the DW barrel on it? looks purdy.
lazarus - November 27, 2009 02:45 PM (GMT)
I haven't put paint through it yet, but I have dry fired it and it's pretty quiet. I got a lvl 10 bolt in mine as well.
brokenzipper - November 27, 2009 03:45 PM (GMT)
did your lvl 10 have all the shims? I have only one. might see if i can drum some up off AO. but the body takes priority. when i get my other one in, ill have alot to sell off to get the body i want. so i can put my DW barrel on. :)
jolt00 - November 27, 2009 06:29 PM (GMT)
thats what i want eventually is an e-mag/x-mag
brokenzipper - December 5, 2009 11:59 PM (GMT)
here is the schematic i found for automag internals. Its is also the workings of the pneumatic trigger.
