Wow, first time since January? I would go nuts, glad to hear it was a good outing. out of all my pump guns i own/have owned, the Snipers are always my favorite, and the ones i seem to be able to shoot the best. J have a hard enough time during the winter months not playing, i usualy keep my mind on paintball by working on or building guns.

March through August in Florida is definitely NOT the right time of year to be on a speedball field with no shade at all. ;)

Since I ended up playing with a birthday party group that was fifteen 13-14 year olds, I'd feel bad bragging too much. :P

Nah, I took it pretty easy on 'em, helped a few fix their jacked-up guns, let a few of 'em shoot my Sniper...it was a good day overall.

oh well then... good times... so you played the role of "Obiwan" for the day.

some of the best day's playing ball/reffing were days where i did birthday parties for younger kids. The fun part is convincing the grownups to let the kids win the "Adults vs Kids" game

One i remember the most there was a kid that was in a wheel chair or walked with braces on his legs and crutches... I carried him from bunker to bunker every game.... where ever he wanted to go...

His mom at the end of the day thanked me while fighting off tears and said she hadn't seen him in that good a mood for a very long time.

sorry to hijack

peace

I play a lot of games with borthday groups of kids in that age group too. I usualy always have a lot of fun with them as its fun to just sit back and watch what they will do, and convince them to try something daring. PLus when they eventualy do shoot you out of the game, they always get a big kick out of shooting "that good guy" its like beating a boss on a video game. One of the last times i played, i didnt realize they expanded the field on this particular field so the border was further back behind a huge rock. I had lost track of 2 kids, and swept a few out of their home bunker and walked out saying "I think the game is over" and all of a sudden i hear "THREEEEEE!!!!! pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop!!" they must have done a shoot on 3 count and they shot the pizzle out of me from like 15 feet, i thought it was pretty funny. My remaining teamates then moved in and got them as they surrendered becuase those were their last few rounds on my back.

The only thing that ever bugs me about some of the kids groups is they will sometimes all bunch up in 1 bunker that is totaly useless game after game and just hang out, and they will often refuse to take any advice from the guy they dont know because they buddy cowering next to them is the sickest player they know

I know what you mean. The very first game of the day I pressed too far off the break without thinking about the fact that none of the other kids were going to be anywhere around me. So I ended up crammed in a tiny little bunker (I'm 6'5", 240-lbs) with 4 guys shooting at me from different angles, and one of them hit me. A few games later, we were dividing up teams and he kept saying it wasn't fair that I was on the other team and he wanted me on his team, blah, blah, blah. I just looked at the ref and said "Does anybody else find it funny that the guy who shot me is the one saying it's not fair that I'm on the other team?"
