Greetings,
Sunday was dead at the field so I was cleaning up a little....
Found enought parts laying around to build some cockers and/or snipers.
Had a request a few weeks ago for a forward facing feed tube on a sniper so I took the extra body to the other shop.
Dug thru the aluminum pile and found the right size tube and a chunk of square stock for the plug.
Spun the plug in the old 1939 SouthBend to press fit the feed tube and jammed it in with a press.
Stuck that in the mill and cut a couple of slots to view the balls, the feed hole and the recess and thruhole for the mount.
When you tilt it up and can only see one ball in the back slot, it's time to jam a 10 round tube in the front.
Cut it to hold 13 balls and polished it up before a quick gloss black powdercoat and installed CCI ball gate.
Milled the top of the body with a ball end mill so the tube fits down into it a little for stability and drilled and tapped a 10-32 hole for the mount.
Stuck it together with a missmatch of parts but works nicely...
From a pile of parts to chronoed in less than 4 hours including machine work and powdercoating.

Enjoy!
