it uses sd cards. also they have a 3000 version now. I thought about getting one for flights out here but decided against it. cool find though.

naw, bring it to the OSC's and lets rig up a helmet, i'll sacrifice one of mine. and then, rotate who gets to wear it and capture shots of us doing cool things like getting shot and stuff.

is the 5k a crazy high resolution? i might buy a 2k. use it for ballin and kayakin.
instead of a helmet, can you put it on the strap on the side of a flex? maybe use a hardear?

u never saw my 1000 setup did u?
i had it hooked to one of my hard ears, wanted it centered in the top of the head, but alas it never worked out. :(
the 5k is same resolution, just has a viewing screen on it, so you can see what u just recorded.
back in the day the 1k was 15fps, 2k and 3k are both 30fps and waterproof to 3m

trying to find a 2k exploded diagram. see if there was a way to break it all down and fit it somehow. I have alot of ideas on how to make it work. also, if we have to sidemount it, put a small dot on the lens of the mask to point where the camera is pointed.

I think I have the answer to our Helmet cam issues.
I found a Spy camera that hooks up to a Mini DVR. Its pretty small and should be easily be hooked up to a mask. Best part about it is that it records in 640 x 480 at 30 FPS and excepts mini SD cards. Downside is that its a bit on the pricey side.
