Powder coated a SL-68 II but the customer wanted the feed neck threaded for a Impulse Feed neck.

Added a threaded sleeve in the feed neck that threaded for Impulse feed necks.

I really liked the pump grip, was it cut out or are the gills just painted? If it was cut would you be willing to do it again?

The gills are milled out.

I was expecting to see the feedneck removed and replaced by a tapped hole. Seems a bit tall, but not bad though. It has a really nice candy apple color to it.

I would think that, when fully loaded, that large of a hopper set that high and offset to the right would make the gun very hard to balance.

Well if you recall the SL-68 feed will only fit a BE 40 round hopper or that feed size type.
This will let it fit more hoppers that are available while keep it stock so you can go back to the way it was if you wish too.
