Title: Pair Of Ducks
Description: Duckslides that is :)

Well I finally have Duckslides back after some aggravation with one of the airsmiths. These are new to me but they will be well loved just like my old departed custom Duckslide.

There is nothing quite as perfect as the feel of a 86* frame on a Phantom. Eventually these both will be heading off to another airsmith for more work but for now this is how they look. Not sure on the rear dropout valve for the silver one. Might have to change it to be more like the black one.

Thanks guys :)

I would like to try one of Rodney's slide triggers out on the Duckslide when he finally gets them available. I got my name on his list :P

I just not digging the way that the rear dropout feels or looks on the silver one though. Will have to change that up so that it is side saddle style like the black one.

I truthfully like the WWA feed look on the Duckslide better than the other 1 piece feed. Eventually the feeds will be replaced when they make their way to the airsmith anyway, but I thought I would post up some "now" photos of them user posted image

I just do not like the way it extends back over your wrist. I like it to be a little more like my 1911 :)

Cleric: So did you fabricate the side saddle asa out of exsiting parts or did you get it made. Reason being is because like you I dont like the drop out extending over my wrist.

It is not hard to come up with the parts needed to side saddle a Phantom. First you need to have a valve body that is side tapped, like every VSC valve out there, then you need to get yourself a 1/8" threaded nipple. It is preferred by me to use one that has a set of wrench flats in the center but you could get one that is all threads, just means that you are going to ruin the nipple when you try to get it back out later. Then you just need a female ASA to 1/8" air tap on the side adaptor. I like to have mine be just for this, looks better flat, but you can easily use a duckbill in a pinch to try it out and see if you like it. Then thread your 12gram bucket changer in and you are all set.
