Title: Cancon Brass

kevdupuis - July 10, 2009 03:32 AM (GMT)
Well one of the club members handed me a case of Sheridan pieces at a club day last month containing most of the parts to two P68 lb's, a Piranha, what appears to be an early PGP and what may be a PG "12 gram Right feed the same size as a PGP". Also included were a couple of Cooper T bolts for another style of pump, a couple of power tubes plus a trigger and hammer group for something else.

I was surprised at how good the condition of the PGP was when I pulled it out of the case.

I put a bit of time into the Piranha but it works good.

There was no feed with it but it was a right feed. I haven't found any markings on the body at all.

P68 lb's, the top one has a bent lower tube I'm not sure if I can straighten. All the markers were apart like this in the case.

That's a treasure trove of Sheridan goodness! Nice.

The PGP and Piranha are both going to be Club loaners as will one of the lb's when it's done.

Looks like a battle pump, IIRC those go for a decent price now adays. Trigger goes to a KP rifle, that'll also go for a good price.

Looks like a quicksilver.

You are sitting on gold my friend.

Those "power tubes" in the last photo are actually constant air adaptors for a sheridan, I believe.

I believe you're right looking at the pair of them, it never occurred to me.

PGP constant air adaptors looks like one is missing the nut, and a battle pump seen those mostly sell for about $100 +/-

Thanks,
I got one of the P12's together, I added a quick change plus the battle pump, I decided to do a stick feed for it.

The club's going to have a few interesting loaners for pump days.

edit One interesting thing I learned is that the 5 bodies and parts belonged to Durty Dan and that he gave them to the club.
