A couple of us are going back down to Bear Claw the 8th of August for the BT World Game. It's a one day scenario taking place at fields all over the world. If you stay over for Sunday they are having free rec play with air fills for $1.00.

How many people did you say we needed to have an official "team" altogether?

I don't think there is a minimum... depends on the General I think. It would probably be good to get at least ten people but we'll have a good time either way. I don't think Jeff, Dan or I ever used a medic or any of the other fancy stuff last game anyway.
Still nothing on BC site for registration but I did get an email from BT today saying that everyone needs to pre-register on their site for prizes and stuff.

Hey guys… I was informed last Friday that I and going to be laid off August 14th. I am still going to try to work the funds to go to the scenario but I’m not sure that it’s going to be practical for me to try to go to that when I’ll be out of a job the next week… I am going to be job hunting over the next couple weeks and if I am able to find something I will plan on going to this event. Otherwise I’m going to have to sit out this one… Sorry… :(

For those that can make it... Looks like we are going to register on the Red Team. I'm going to do it myself when I get home from the gym. You just need a PayPal account and I'm registering ($35) and prepaying for all day air ($10). We will pay for the paint when we get there. You should also download the waiver forms and fill them out to bring with you, along with the receipt for payment.

Okay... I registered just now and it was a fairly easy process. They did have a spot for a team name, and since we have a couple of True Ballers, some 3rd Eye Vision and some free agents I decided to not go with any of those names but went with the name.... Orphan Brigade. It has historical significance to the Clarksville area and the Civil War, so it kinda fits. If you want the full story on the name I will be glad to tell you all about it out at the field, or you can do a goggle search for the Orphan Brigade.

Okay... got 5 of us all pre-registered and ready for Saturday. Dickson County Daniel will be hooking up with us along the way. Austin and his brother are heading down also so I told them if they want to hang with us that is cool.
remember you'll need $10 for air and we'll need to split up a couple of cases of paint at $65 a case.

I'm thinking we will need to meet up about 5am at the New Hope Road exit on 24 in order to get down there in time to set up and get paint, etc before the player meeting. Anyone not coming from the Clarksville/Springfield area can meet up along the way.
I'm bringing a folding table and we are talking about rigging a tarp up between two vehicles for shade. I'm also bringing a change of clothes for the ride home. Last time we got a little muddy LOL
Anyone under 18 probably needs to download the Bear Claw waiver from their website and get it signed. I'd hate to have someone not be able to play.

Unless someone happens to have one of those "easy-up" gazebos. I've been trying to convince Jeff that he needs to buy one, but he aint going for it yet. LOL

i may just head down there friday night and sleep in my car lol. i'm not one for getting up at 4 lol
