Title: Wtb Wood Pannel Grips
Description: 45 pannels

I have recently begun my life long journey of being a gun whore. And after hanging out at MCB for a while, I discovered that, to be recognized by the gun whoring community, you need some wood and brass. (usually in the form of a K-series.) Well, I am still young, and I have several full length guns, so I opted to get my brass in the form of a PGP. I modded it up and it has a 45 mag frame on it. It is polished brass, but no wood to speak of. So... I need to outfit this baby with some wood.

I would like some nice looking wood panel grips that will fit a 45 frame. Any recommendations on where I can find some? I am not sure what color or wood type, so pictures would be nice. thanks.

Do it. They're worth the price.

There are also these (I had some on my Llama):

I can't use those first set because the Mag frame has the finger grooves milled into the front of the frame. (I personally like it that way.) So I am going to stick to the panels.
thanks for the links though. The second site seems promising.
question about checkering: when you have a nice checkered grip like that, and you play paintball in the dirt and stuff, do the grips get all messed up and full of dirt? if so, are they really tough to clean?

They probably get caked in pretty good. Nothing a toothbrush and some soapy water won't fix.
If you're really worried about it, go with the smooth ones.

I like the 1/2 checkered ones. Best of both worlds, man. I am not terribly worried about it. I am just not a fan of spending an entire day cleaning and oiling up my gear after I spent a day running around mucking it all up. There is something to be said for an item that is easy to clean/maintain.
