I really want to go to this event. I know we all have jobs and that most of us have families. This is why I am this posting now. We will have give or take 11 1/2 mothns until this event and it will give us enough time to save and to plant a little bug in our boss/wife/Girl friends ear that we want to do something big in April. Once the event gets closer then we can plan dates officially.

I hate HB, how did i get into the "going" category. The weather sux, the women are ugly, and the competition over there is super lame. Why would i want to go again? :wacko:

If we put this on our calender now, i'm down for seeing about this in a major way.

I'd like to travel to x1 Long Distance event per year, maybe a HB, or Vegas, or Hawaii or something.

then travel to x1 Mid Range event per year, STL of course

then whatever we can get going locally (Pride Series). This would get us about x7 tournies to go to per year, which i consider to be a full competitive season.

Then we can sprankle in the fun events like SPE and maybe a Scenario game, yeah i said it. Whose down for walkie talkies in the woods yo! "Phantom 44, this is Uranium Delta 615, do you copy my roger, 10-4? over and out good buddy!" :bang:

I'd like to go to HB or hawaii sometime. I think if we do, we make it a paintball vacation. take like a week there. I know oahu pretty well :D

The OSCs are going to Aruba!!! We should go there.

Im down for a week long vacation. But a week in vegas?? Thats going to be expensive. As for HB or Hawaii or Aruba I wold be down for that.

Scenario game?? Sure why not I know Bearclaw has some nice Scenario games.I went last year to their Dday and it was loads of fun. I think it would have been better if I had a squad of my drinking buddies behind me but oh well.

Just wanted to give you guys an early heads up. I received an email reply from Camille that said they're waiting on confirmation from Kristen to go forward with a pump division in the NPPL/USPL. They hope to make an official announcement soon.

Event 2: West Coast Open, SC Village, Corona, CA – July 24 - 26, 2009

Event 3: DC Challenge, Pev’s Paintball Park, Aldie, VA - August 28 – 30, 2009

Event 4: World Championships, Las Vegas, NV - October 2 – 4, 2009 (Venue TBA)

I'm not too confident that they'll be able to pull enough teams for a pump division at the DC Challenge event, but SC and Vegas should be pretty easy.

Next year's HB is scheduled for April 9 - 11, 2010. In case you wanted to plan ahead.

Pump is confirmed for the SC Village event (July 26th). Prizes from HB are free entry for 1st, 50% off for 2nd, and 30% off for 3rd. A grand championship prize for the series title was mentioned, but no details have been given.
