Title: A public apology.
Chemical X - August 13, 2008 01:51 AM (GMT)
I apologize for my acting at pandemonium. I know it wasnt poor but it was somewhat rude.
I have been very hazy mentally and easily distracted in the past month or two and it has affected my conduct. I am not sure what is causing it but I do know that I wasnt very social at PP and unknowingly blew a few people off. No one has told me this but I now realize I did it and I apologize for doing so.
I know that a few times people were talking to me and I drifted off mentally, I apologize for this as well.
I am truly very sorry I did this as I only get to see some of you about once a year, while it was not a conscious descision to act this way it was still something I had done. So if we were talking and I either quit responding, started doing something else, or got up and walked out it truly wasnt my intention to offend.
As for what it could have been there have been some significant amount of stress on me lately but I really dont think it was that, no matter though as I have done the following to rid myself of stress. Broke up with my girl, quit my job, started working on side projects again to get my focus back, and to tell you the truth im feeling better. I still have a suspicion that my haze was caused by something else but I will speak of it when I know for certain.
To all who attended PP5 I hope I wasnt too much of an arse
Ben

If you feel the need to appologize... then you obviously missed my profanity during the first ~1 1/2 hours of the game.
I was totally ready to tell the blue team, in detail, what their mothers liked to shove where, how many at a time and for how much money.
In retrospect, probably not the most mature behavior I could have mustered.
In contrast, Chem gave away about $150-200 worth of shirts and hoodies, volunteered I don't know how much money towards getting everybody fed and drunk'd and made it a point to go out of his way to make everyone have a good time.
You're just suffering from not-enough-time-at-PP-to-talk-to-everyone-as-much-as-you-want-itis. It happens to all of us.
All the more reason why we need a second event in the year.

i wasn't there chem but recently realized kind of the same thing you mentioned about my behavior.... so i understand where your coming from... and the need apologize. You may not be able to trace it to one thing either. For me it was just a multiude of things all together that mashed into a big pot of mess and cause my reaction. Just food for thought.
That focus can be a pain to get back... good luck.
:( *go to cry in corner cause he missed (the chance to get as a prize had i attended) free hoodie* :(

I thought you were acting fine Chem, i could tell you had a lot of stress, but noone is free from stress in todays world. The economy is shot, the "Cool" thing is to be a disrespectfull twibb, and gas is draining evreyones paintball funds.
I am somewhat of an antisocial person, i am not one for hello's or goodbyes. I tend to just show up, hang out, and then leave most of the time un-announced. I dont do it to be rude, it is just how i am.
Those shirts and hoodies you made up are awesome, the hoodies are mega-comfy, i love mine. If you still want those saringes (sp) and stuff for filling in space on some of your projects, let me know, i'll nab some from work and mail them out to you.
I have personaly distanced myself from a lot of my usual hometown "friends" as they are begining to show their true colors to me. Noone has any respect anymore. Really the only social events i truly look forward to anymore are the pump events where i get to hang out with a great group of people who all are respectfull, and friendly, honest people. SPE and PP this year were awesome, and time is ticking too slowly for me until next years events.

You guys are killing me. No, not worse than that.
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being an average Jerry Springer guest and 10 being Angry German Kid, my first hour of PPV was only maybe a 2 or 3.
papaintballer - August 15, 2008 12:30 AM (GMT)

TrojanMan - August 20, 2008 04:01 PM (GMT)
The only thing that bothers me about 10-shot when drunk is the "HYUCK, HYUCK!" laughing that can be heard from the inside of every bunkhouse.
