One of our EMR family is in trouble and needs our help. Rich "soultaker" Gilbert is a long time ref and part time staffmember at EMR. Those of you who have been to EMR have certainly seen Rich, who is always everywhere and doing everything. If you have been to EMR in the last 10 years or so, Rich has probably given you a hand with something.

Rich has suffered a "grand mal" seizure the result of brain aneurism. One of the blood vessels in his brain broke and sprung a leak. He is currently listed as "stable" at the Hershey Medical Center, where he will be for some time. Reports from his family indicate that he is improving but not yet "out of the woods".
To show Rich that his paintball family can and will step up, as he has so many times, to help a fellow baller in need, EMR and friends will be throwing a benefit to raise money for Rich and his family. As it would seem that Rich's health insurance is trying to avoid paying for his treatment, money is extremely tight and the ongoing medical bills are going unpaid.
There will be a bake sale and a gear auction. Many of the EMR home teams with generous sponsors will be raffling gear, paintball guns and all manner of paintball related schwag as well.
If you would like to help, bring any gear or baked goods that you would like to donate to the cause when you come to EMR for Spring Castle. If you are not coming to the game but would still like to help, watch this space or contact Blue at
emrpb@epix.net and he may be able to direct your efforts.
Thanks for reading and Rich... we are pulling for you, pal!
Get well soon.
