Just wanted tp know what add-ons you guys have done to your Tibs. I trust the guys on this forum first before I go checking with the Tib Owners Group :D

I know that Agentsmith was king of the Zeus mods, but I do not think he has moded his Tib to much though, what about anyone else??

I have just bought extra mags, and a leg holster for them for mine. I alsu upgraded to the Underground Mod Shop speed changer for the clips. I really want the barrel that WWA is working on, but the site doesnt say its done, and i never get reply's to my e-mails about it. Other than that mine is all stock, i added a rail on the front under the barrel, but havent put anything on it yet. I hope they will be at Spring Castle Conquest so i can pick up some more goodies for it (and spare parts)

I lost one of the metal clips that holds in the barrel, and it doesnt work well at all w/o it, i'm gonna tape them in from now on to prevent losing them. What happened was i removed my barrel while playing to clean it well, it was pretty gunked up (my fault) and when i re assembled it somehow the clip fell out, inside the barrel, and on my next shot it shot out the barrel, luckily it was test firing at a tree to make sure evreything was ok, but the clip couldnt be found. Now it will usualy shoot all 7 rounds out the barrel w/ the springfeed after the first shot.

I have in sight:

- trigger work (for shorter and smoother trigger and pull)
- devolumization of low pressure chamber (for more shoots per powerlet)
- sight rail (for decent red dot, because the stock "iron" sights suck)
- and perhaps new, custom made barrel with better internal diameter (.685")


...after doing these mods I will supposedly sell my Tac-8 to some friend, because I do not like it in reallity. It is good semi-auto paintball pistol, reliable, with really good efficiency and great consistency before drop-out, but with other aspect I was disappointed with Tac-8.

...in reallity, Tac-8 is not close to real handgun than other paintball pistols (what was the reason why I had bought it), because he has "wrong dimensions" - is really HUGE (especially in width). So imho it is not good sidearm, and it is not much closer to real pistols than other paintball pistols. Because of the size, there is bassicaly no gain from the "revolutionary" mag feeding system, than abillity switch paint and powerlets quickly... but to use this advantage, you need spare mags, whith are expensive... and even if you have them, you will be limited with playing costs (powerlets are expensive and the efficiency of Tac-8 is good, but not great).

Old PGP is still my favourite...

Tib is still close to being like a desert eagle then a zeus is...

but thats not why i bought it. and thats not what the thread is asking.

As for mods I did manage to drill a tiny hole in the front site, and insert one of the orange sights from the back of a pgp2k, then just white out with green marker on the back site and it makes it easier to see. Ill get a pic up later. Also im waiting for the lapco barrel to come back from specops (first time it was bent..0
Im planning on doing the custom98 trigger mod and getting some fastchangers, and maybe polishing internals. But theres not so much to do to this thing. I modded a airsoft shoulder holster (just needed to make the clips fit), its the best way to carry it as a sidearm imo, takes all the excess weight off your legs so you can still move quickly. Its cheap too. again ill get pics of the mod later.

One mod I havent seen pics of yet but does exist is a Qloader t8, where the qloader feeds through the clip, that combined with a remote line and you basically make the t9 obsolete.

Good so far guys. I am working on the fiber optic front sight myself. I actually used a paint pen on the rear sight. Turned out good and should contrast to the green front sight. Not sure about the 98C trigger mod. I do not have any problem with the standard trigger even though I wish it was a slider like a 1911. Looking at the UMS TRG mod. FLUP's got one good looking mod even if it really does not add anything more than the bottom rail.

Apparently Tiberius is working on an incert based barrel system set to release sometime this year. Lapco is also going to be releasing different bore sizes then the .689 out now, as well as a tip protector for those not using the mock rain cover (they will be selling then with or without silencers at your choice) Personally I think lapco has the best idea just making solid 1 piece barrels.

another really cool sounding mod is a qloader fed mag, coupled with a remote air adaptor and basically the t8 has overcome all of the reasons the t9 was release without hacking open the side of the body. Personally i dont really want this because I bought mine as a sidearm to be used occassionally as a primary, not a primary rifle (I prefer pumps in rifle form, semis in pistol form)

I just really want some kick arse machined adjustable sights (like on some of those rare squalls) with the hiviz (whatever the glowing tubes are called)

The fiber optic rods are great for being able to see. We need to have someone, I guess I could try to find time :P , go to a gunsmith and look at having them cut dovetails into the pistols "slide" so that it would be able to take regular pistol sights. Hard to go wrong with cuts to take 1911 sights. There is only about a million different sights out there for them :)

I agree that the q-loaded T8 does not really do anything for me. Extended magazines, yes, but the q-load idea takes away the pistol ability of the T8.

what i would really like would be to be able to attack a winchester to my T8 and just use the 12g's to change the air source. I am disapointed to see that WWA has canceled that barrel, i was unaware of that happening. I really want to upgrade the barrel on mine, i'll have to look into other options i guess...
