Highly possible that it's one of the .40-cal pistols.

Cheap and inexpensive, they take a 100-round hopper (which is about the size of our 30-rounders) and get about 50 shots to a 12-gram. Sounds great but you've got to deal with the problems of .40-cal paint...

Note that the barrel and feed tube look full-sized but in fact they're drilled out smaller than you would expect. If I'm correct, that is.

I think your right Trojan...I knew I had seen it before...but I just couldn't place it, until after I read your post, I remembered that I saw them on the shelves at Cabella's right next to the paintball blowguns.

Ahhh, yes you are correct.

Anyways I have been looking for a paintball pistol to use as a primary. I found this on ebay for 30 bucks. But since this thing shoots .40 paint, it's not what I'm looking for.

Do you guys have any idea of a good pistol to use as a primary? I kinda liked the look of the PT Extreme but arent they known for leaking badly? The g2 also seems alright. I don't like bulkyniss, it would be nice to find one a little more streamlined. I have thought about the tac8 but the magazines are too expensive, I would rather stick with 10 round tubes.

I have seen this in the Ronin gear holster, I like the look of it, but can't find it anywhere else.

get a pgp stroked

^yep ... or just get a pgp it's not semi but it's a lot cheaper than the alternatives...

Why not just get a PGP?

pbrules15 - June 27, 2007 04:45 PM (GMT)
I've got a PGP and love it. But I was wanting to play a little semi with a pistol.

penarol10 - June 27, 2007 06:40 PM (GMT)
thats why im saying send it to palmers they'll make it semi and put a spring feed on it if you want.

those palmers pistols look like so much fun

pbrules15 - June 27, 2007 06:55 PM (GMT)
I know, but I don't have that kind of money. I mean it's like $450, way too high for me.

P4p3Rc1iP - June 27, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
There's Rainman. He may not put elves (or was it gnomes? or fearies??) in it, but from what I hear, he does a decent job.

Also that second one you posted looks like a PTxtreme with the springfeed detatched in the holster.

pbrules15 - June 28, 2007 04:42 AM (GMT)
What about the 32 degrees .68 Delta? I really like that it has a dropout for the cartridge. Heard anything about it?

The only person I have seen have any luck with Co2 powered semi pistols is AgentSmith and his MilTec G2. It has even gone so far as to make me think about trading my AutoMag for one. Read his link. Search for more and trust what he says to be true.

http://z1.invisionfree.com/forums/StockCla...showtopic=21602

OBTW, I was running an AutoMag, right feed with a 10" barrel and a 3.5 oz tank and Winchester hopper. It's a little big but shot good as fas as I could tell. I'm currently deployed and didn't get to ring it out like I wanted to.

AutoMags can be had for around $100 when you look for a stripped down Right Feed model. The parts to make it compete with a G2 will most likely drive the price up equal to or beyond what it would take to have a modded G2 like AgentSmith has.

pbrules15 - June 29, 2007 01:38 AM (GMT)
OK, so I've been looking and its either the Warsensor G1 or WSP.
I've ruled out the G2 because of that sight rail on either side of the marker, and the longer barrel included. I need nither and it costs more.

G1: $100

*Metal Trigger Frame (M92 Style)
*New Style Contoured Rubber Grips
*Interchangeable Magazine
*Adjustable Velocity 250-310+ FPS
*Push Safety
*Quick Field Strip
*Ported Barrel
*10-round Capacity
*Hopper Adapter Compatible
*High Gas Efficiency
*Bottom Line Ready
*Quicker Reloads
*Integrated R.I.S. Rail
*More Upgrade Options

Its simple and at a good price, also at pbreview it had an 8/10

WSP: $160

*Movable Slide
*Metal Trigger Frame with New Style Grip
*Magazine Quick Cap included
*Interchangeable Magazine
*Adjustable Velocity 200-310+ FPS
*Contoured Rubber Grips
*Push Safety
*Quick Field Strip
*10+1 round Capacity
*Hopper Adapter Compatible
*High Gas Efficiency
*Bottom Line Ready
*Quicker Reloads
*Integrated R.I.S. Rail
*More Upgrade Options
* 2" Flash Hider

Pretty much the same as the G1, but has a movable slide (which is really cool!), comes with the quick cap and a flash hider.

Slide is plastic, manufacture said it was not metal because you would lose efficiency, but is supposed to be durable.

At pbreview it had an 8/10 but was a little below the G1

Do you have any input on these two?

skx762 - June 29, 2007 04:54 AM (GMT)
PM AgentSmith if he doesn't chime in again soon. He is the only person I have read on line that either has the fixes for the blowback pistols or has purchased the brands/models that aren't leaking or self destructing. When they first came out it seemed everyone was having problems and no one could get them to work.

Like I said, I would read everything he has written and then read it again before I spent any hard earned cash. $100 isn't cheap if what you buy is unfixable crap.

Good luck

pbrules15 - June 29, 2007 04:04 PM (GMT)
I'll send him a PM

killbot - June 29, 2007 05:21 PM (GMT)
DONT get any of the zeus made by warsensor, your in for more trouble then its worth. only get the Miltec models, and to me the g2's extended barrel is useless so go with the cheaper g1, then do the "agentsmith" mods too it.

AgentSmith - June 30, 2007 12:28 PM (GMT)
HI GUYS!!!

That blue gun in the holster is a Core ZX without it's magazine on, one of the only zeus types I haven't gotten my hands on, therefore the only one who's warranty I haven't voided

I recently snagged a WSP off of ebay, my thought was if I made a piece that blocked off the blowback port on the side and slung a shroud underneath attached to the slide, I could make it easily convertible from semi to pump and it seems like it will work. I've made a good start on it:

user posted image

My initial impressions of the WSP are very mixed. On the one hand when it's working stronger springs do most of the work of cycling the slide so at most you lose only a shot or two BUT(and for my purposes this is an absolute no-no) I'm concerned that rain getting into the slide will fight the springs and grind her to a halt, I know for sure snow would and I'm not stopping Pball for any weather!
In addition it's got a WAY higher degree of difficulty in the maintenance of it's two piece hammer and truly bizarre velocity adjuster.

I preferred the Armotech and now the Miltec(these two brands are 100% compatible) because:
QUOTE
I've mentioned at more length in other places why I prefer the Armo/Miltec design to the other JABBs, but I can sum it up as parts availability. All of the other pistol designs are riddled with proprietary threads and proprietary parts and worst of all, proprietary pierce pins! Between 6 mags and enough parts to have a decent toolbox you could spend what a custom piece might cost you!
The Armo and now Miltec read like this. Spyder cupseal, spyder valve spring, spyder valve, cutdown tippmann prolite mainspring and a CCI Phantom pierce pin! The CCI brand pierce pins can last 1,000 changes instead of the average 100 I get with warsensor types(I can replace the seals but the pins wear out) and I can order them from Phantom online or call CCI and get a pierce pin for $6!

The threads for the co2 plug(which for the metric other versions will run you $20!) on a miltec are ASA threads! So any easily available five dollar ASA plug can get you back in the action.

It also still has the M1911 grip frame. I'm a big fan of the 45 grip to put it mildly. I will tell anyone that excels with any other grip, that had they spent the same amount of time training with a 45 grip they'd be a better shot. That's why 96 years after 1911, SIGarms are bringing out a 1911 model true to the original as Smith and Wesson has also recently done. You can't improve some things.

except for the gripframe these things may not matter much to some users, I work these things to death :bang:
In last weekend's 2 day scenario game I shot 3 bags of paint through my miltec, but even a regular sunday I'll go through 300-500 rounds and because I get the sweet season passes for the local field I play(Hell Survivors, Mi), I go pretty much every weekend. A recent truck accident left me without wheels for 3 weeks and everyone was picking on me because that was the longest I'd gone without playing since 04.
These guns can be quite fun even without all the mods and the truth is one of the things I love best about them is that they let me take the field with my Nelspot or my Sheridan without needing to fear the rush! I made one of my best shots in my 20+ years of play last week, nailing a guy at well over 100' in the woods with my sheridan P68SC and it's undershot backspinning bolt. Us defenders actually heard the guy yell "I'M OUT! HOW CAN I BE OUT?!?!?! :P :P
Then when his two friends rushed 'the pump guy' I popped back up with my G2 and shot them in the face and chest :D Oh happy day!
The bait and switch is a time honored classic that works better on modern players than it did the old timers!!!

Off I go(I hear Hell Survivors calling!!!) I'll post more later!!!

EDIT:AARGH! I was halfway there and the electronic tether pulled me back, further proof that cellphones and paintball don't mix.
Good news, though My Bro-in Law and sister will be here this afternoon, he's in the Army and travels alot so we have gotten in the habit of not asking for advance notice.
I will play tomorrow, but now I'm all fired up so I can't sleep(I work midnights), so let me add:
The warsensors shoot as well as the miltecs-don't get me wrong and their parts outlet Buypbl is good, but in addition to having to buy every screw and spring from them and the grip's weird shape(milling off the small beavertail will make it identical to a 45 grip frame), the grip is solid aluminum! Crikey it's heavy!!!
The rails on the Warsensor G2+ are not good either and the G2+ I had, I removed them and made a plate to cover the blowback port instead, '45ed' the grip along with the other mods I like and mechanically that pistol is still going strong in the hands of a friend of mine, who's down in Tennesee, so it's more all the changes from the original Armo were in the wrong direction,IMO, but the guns both still work the same. I would be able to recommend a G1+, as long as you could get used to the grip.

And why did warsensor mount that brick with a trigger on it? To 'balance' the gun  One of the things that cheeses me off is firearm logic being applied to paintball pistols incorrectly. In some cases it translates but fundamentally it's flawed for paintball. For instance thinking of the pistol as a short range weapon. 300 fps is 300 fps last time I heard, so this does not apply to paintball, but putting a heavy barrel on a gun instead of a heavy grip to make it more accurate does. What also applies is that when a person has the tank braced against them and two hands on it, that's three points-a tripod and that's more stable than a two hand or one hand grip for aimed fire.
That's where another booboo comes in, shooting form. Firearm pistol shooting form is almost completely in reaction to one thing, recoil. Recoil that isn't caused by paintball guns. If a person wants to perfect the ultimate shooting form for the paintball pistol, they need to put away Elmer Keith and read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. In that book battles take place with 'flashlight' pistols and the 'elbows braced against the side-stiff armed' shooting style works wonders. I keep one hand near the co2 plug and one hand on the grip, like a mini rifle since I don't need to worry about recoil. This makes it more stable on the run by swinging my elbows and easier for me to aim far as well. When I shoot one handed I almost lock my elbow and aim with my whole arm.

and yes, the enemy's gate is always down!

Whew! Sorry!

Rob

Cool Thanks!

Also, I liked the Warsensor Quick cap for the magazine, will it work in a Miltec G1 or G2?

AgentSmith - July 1, 2007 04:43 AM (GMT)
The magazines are interchangeable, but warsensor changed the way the quick cap attaches I believe, so you may need a warsensor mag to go with the warsensor quickcap.

Here's one attached to a Armotech mag, is the Armotech mag compatible with Miltec?

Absolutely!

pbrules15 - July 2, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
Great!!!

Now I've been looking one last time, and I came across the Tac 8 by Tiberius Arms. Its nice, but the magazine only holds eight, and the co2, has to be changed with an allen wrench! So the only practical thing would be to get three magazines. If you add it all up you get somewhere around 400 bucks, with a gun, mag's, holster, etc.! Personally I think that is waaaaaay too much. I think the Miltec G2 is the way to go.

Marker w/ holster from xtremez = $110
quick cap from warsensor = $25

Total = $135

Thanks everyone for your help!!!
