Description: PGP stroker+k-frame

it's not done yet, he still is going to work on concealing the hoses and whatnot, hopefully anodize the frame black, shorten the hoses, etc. But as of today it's been timed and fired. It works.
http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5668433http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5668432it's going to be sick. I'm pumped. I have no idea what a dynamic page is :P

The links above have larger pics
EDIT: Almost done phase 2

UPDATE:

The air will get the the reg like this, just a copper mock up for now. The final product will be stainless steel and the inside of the grip will be hollowed out to make room for it without butchering the wood.

thats sexy as nothin else! love the grips
JaKaL - June 13, 2007 07:59 AM (GMT)
That's really amazing. All of the descriptions I've heard of K frames leave "little doubt" that they wouldn't be thick enough to strokerize. How'd you pull that off?
Super gun man. I've had a crush on pgp strokers for a while now. Just so damn expensive to get stuff from Palmers' - and I've never been too keen on how they handle the 3 way...

That is Truly Beautiful!!!

It is too thin. Sergi overcame this by using thick wood grips and building a 3-way right into the grip frame (little box thing on the top ofthe grip that hoses are comin out of).
As for the palmers 3-way setup mine NEVER gave me any issues in 6+ years of use. I'm hoping that the same will prove true with sergi's setup. I'll make sure to keep everyone updated on the dealy-o.

Looks great, I am anxious to see it finished.
I added pics to your initial post.

It's not really so much that I think they're problematic - actually I've always heard that Palmers' stuff is super reliable.
To me, the whole setup just seems......... I dunno "wrong" I guess. Probably comes from using 'cockers for so long. Still would love to get one of their guns in my hands. Never actually seen anything from Palmers' save for superstockers and those aren't the same really.

oh yes, it's either done and I can't see the nipple or it's so close to being done I can't take it anymore. I'm so stoked

I LOVE the bird's-head frame on that. K-frames have always fit my palm perfectly, but I have a certain place in my handgun-heart for bird's'head style frames.
I didn't know Sergi would do anything but the standard. Do you think he does Bisley-style as well?

ok that's it ... i'm getting a k frame ... everything else is out the window ... there's no way i'm gettin a kframed pug ... but i can k-frame the pgp and spend 80.00 and get it tunned ...
that is just too hot and now I'm on a mission ... kframe is at the top of my list ...
that's my favorite paintgun right now ... that thing is greatness...

p8ntrjock5902: I didn't ask for anything special in those regards. It's possible that's just the wood grips. Note my original pics to see whether it's that or not. I'm no gun expert :P
Turbo: Go for it man. If this thing performs as well asit looks I will be more than pleased
turbo chicken - July 10, 2007 02:50 PM (GMT)
just came back to take another look ... that thing is awesome ...
anyways after i get both of the mirages going and put them up for sale i'll be on my way to that k-frame ...
Big Boy - July 10, 2007 03:50 PM (GMT)
Everything looks good to me, except the grips. The shape of them just murder the entire thing for me.
Clearush - July 10, 2007 04:55 PM (GMT)

It's back, those pictures do it NO justice whatsoever. It's so awesome.
-It puts as much wieght as the practice wieght I used to train with does
-It is so massively long but not in a KP way. in a nice pistol way.
-it's easier to play tight with by switching up my grip
-it's easier to aim off the pull with, I dunno why
It's sorta like having a 90 degree frame but better in a sexy pistol way. It's awesome. I can't wait to see how it performs.

So it's finally done. Apparently it takes gruntball longer to do a simple one color anno than it does for sergison to custom fabricate parts that have never been made before by hand. Yay gruntball :P

Here's how the hoses keep together and don't look horrible as hell,

Note the smooth milling job, which is really friggen good, on the frame where the hoses go under the grip. I like it a lot more than the palmers way of doing it personally. I do hate the open holes due to the style change but what can you do build a whole diffrent gun just for a custom gripframe.... dun dun dun.

This is the fitting for the hardline to get air into the reg.

This is the quick air disconnect nipple he custom frabricated.

The heart of the gun, the 3-way (or 4-way but that'll just confuse people)

A comparison of the new gripframe to the old one

Finally a then and now pic. What this gun originally was and what, after around 8 years of use, it has become.

I always wanted to do that. Looks great.
