Im leaving tommorow, anyone else going?

I'll be there with about 7 other guys -mostly pump. We're running with the German 6'th Fallshirmjagers. We're going down Wednesday.

let me rephrase that, I'll TRY to be there...

I am now sitting in Podunct, Arkansas at the local airport XNA (Fayetteville I think) waiting for the rest of my team to show up. 4 of my team members left from Hartford CT on thursday to try to get an extra day. they got delayed, delayed and delayed and are now, if they are lucky, supposed to get a flight out of Memphis at 7:30pm tonight which apparently is the only next available flight. Currently they are trying to rent a car to drive here from Memphis which will be quicker in the long run.

Luckily I was standing next to the baggage claim waiting for my luggage to pop out and I happened to spy theirs coming out as well. so, well at least their luggage made it. but to add some more fun to this trip, the 2 other teammates who were supposed to meet me here today and rent the car with got delayed. they are going to be leaving from wherever they are at 1:30 and landing here around 3:30ish. but they don't know where their luggage is.

so here I sit, luckily I brought my laptop, unfortunately I didn't have the foresight to install any games other that WoW (which is difficult to play with a touch pad, but I think i'm going to try)

Flying coach class may be cheaper, but luggage class will usually get you there..

the 2 team mates I was waiting for showed up around 3:30pm. we were constantly told their luggage was on the "next" flight. we gave up and left at 9pm, their luggage didn't show until 11pm the next night (Saturday...)

the other 4 teammates ended their ordeal at 9pm Friday night as well via airplane as they couldn't find a realistic way to rent a car for a 1 way trip and have it be cheap enough.

but after all the frustration we only played the last hour or so of D-day since we ended up missing all the registration and orientation hoopla an

the flight home wasn't as bad, only a 1 hour delay, ended up landing at 10:30 pm Monday, home at 11:30..
