Man, I had no idea how much fun I would have!

My favorite moment was when I made it to the wall for the first time!

Anybody else have a favorite moment they'd like to share?

There were plenty of points in the game that will stick with me for a long time, but most of the best were off the field. One of mine was when we were all in "SCP-The Bunkhouse" and signed our names on the bar. Another was the teamwork on and off the field - sticking together during the game, and helping push cars out of the mudpits after the games. I don't remember alot about "SCP-The Shot", but that's probably a good thing... :wacko:

Myself and my friend christ slipping on the ramp in a vien attempt to get ontop of the wall before the game ended to grab an objective.

Christ goes " Wait.. Im going to go do something stupid.. cover me." I open up full bore on my M7R and get him there he slips face plants.. I then follow him up running and gunning to make it to the ramp get on the ramp jump over christ and slip and faceplant.

We were getting rather annoyed with the lack of refs on the wall that we were trying to push people up there were BLATENTLY wipeing hits and playing on. It turned out that the "Refs" were the camera crew. So the push for the wall was much about getting a prop as it was stabbing the cheaters we were shooting.

OTher than that every one had a good time.. except for Jay but he is permanently grumpy. I did tell him not to use his 45/45 tank on a gun that isnt air effiecnet though.

Ooh, and with the air fill line... yeah, that can make you grumpy.

I didn't see anyone blatantly wipe paint. I saw plenty of bounces and had plenty of bounces off myself but I didn't personally see any cheating. I did hear that other people saw cheating. I don't really know. I'm inclined to believe that it was just bouncing. I know my paint was breaking on-target fairly reliably so long as you just got down off the hill and got up close.

That ramp is always slippery. It's very tough to make it up and stay on your feet.

Not the best Castle ever but still very much worth the trip. At least it was great to see everyone again.

It was a fun week end.. I was confusing people on the field all day.. I had one of the girls in the insertion point ask me " Where the hell is that music coming from? " I just politely said.. " The speaker system in my mask " and promptly got a look of? What the christ? back at me..

BOS, i think i saw that happen, were either one of you wearing a black tshirt? if so i was laying a ton of cover fire for you guys, and then witnessed the carnage that followed.

Yep.. My friend I did the charge with was the only person at all of EMR rocking a " Hostile Kids " long sleeve T shirt.. he hit the bridge hard and went down I followed in after him I was wearing a fox woods renegade jersey and red JT pants

Ah, i saw that one too, the one i was thinking of was a guy in a black tshirt and kept yelling "come on guys, their only paintballs" before he charged. He fell so hard on the bridge i thought he broke some ribs, and the guy behind him charging tripped over him and fell equally hard. Both guys took about 40 shots for their efforts.

you didn't happen to see a shirtless idiot with a pgp do a shamoo-like slide on that ramp, did you? I'm just now finding the splinters.

I saw a couple shirtless guys runing around, but i was probably in line getting air for that one, i know i was in that stinkin line foor the whole second atempt to take the castle. Must be the fear of me breaking out my Hybrid Sniper and fully loaded digicamo 5/50 put the fear of faceshots into the defenders. haha. I saw one guy with no shirt w/ scp on his back, and another one w/ a shaved head and a skull and crossbones on his back.

Yeah, no shirt with SCP. That was p8ntrjock. The best moment during castle for me was sliding down the mud into the castle.
I was shooting the Hurricane and I decided to make a run for the wall. Run, jump, slide....slide....slide...holy crap, drop off the hill, into ditch and into the wall of the castle, slamming hard. I nearly landed on a guy. I musta slid 20 ft and didn't really slow down.

The best part of the whole weekend was BSing with the SCP guys at the bunkhouse and the pump games on Sunday. I have videos of the pump games, no video editing skills so I'll just post them up. I also have the video of Meph shooting flames. I can't wait for Ben to get home and upload that video of me bellyflopping into the funky smelling mud.

...which reminds me...I still have to clean the gear.

It was absolutely awesome being able to meet all you guys in person and I'm definitely going to make it to as many events as I can now.

SCP the Shot:

10-round tube
Dash of sambuca
Two dashes triple sec
Top up to the bottom of the two lines with dark rum
Top the rest up with Mountain Dew.

Cap it and invert once to mix or simply slam it down and let it mix as it goes into your mouth.

Sambuca is more dense than triple sec which itself is more dense than rum so you can either mix to balance it out or else down it and taste the various flavors as they pass over your tongue.


The better way to do it is as a "tall" drink LI Iced Tea style. That is, cup w/ ice and one shot of sambuca, one shot of triple sec, one shot of vodka and three shots of dark rum. Add just a splash of Mt. Dew and stir once.

I didn't have enough booze to make everybody a 6-shot drink so we went with singles to stretch the supply a bit. The problem with mixing in 10-round tubes is that it's very difficult to measure so some of the shots were good and others were perhaps a tiny bit "off." Meph complained his was too sweet, for example.

My appologies for any poorly-measured shots but understand that all this will go much better in the future when I install the proper equipment in the bar.


I think one of the things I will be installing is a rack for 10-round tubes full of SCP the Shot and a smaller pre-mixed tub with a spout behind the bar so it's easier to get the correct mix and faster to pour them.

I will get the bar fully functional by the time Pump Pandemonium rolls around, promise.



Oh, and for the record, Sunfisher turned out to be deadly with that Illusion of his. :bang:

Awesome Castle for me it was my first. Thanks to everyone at SCP for the pump play.... its been a long time since I rocked n' cocked. I am awaiting the photos and video of the SCP rental.... when I see pictures and video I will tell ya what happened when I returned it!

BTW for those who dident get a chance to play with an Airowgun,,, I will be at OK D-day and ION

gamewise, i think my best moment was the first game in tippmann town on sunday pump play, i didn't manage to shoot anyone, but i drew the entirety of fire from 2 or 3 experienced players. in the end, i figure 1 guy on his second real day playing ever tying up 2 experienced guys was more then a fair trade.

overall i've got to agree with fisher and the meeting and hanging out with all the scp guys was by far the best time i had. everyone was great and much fun and booze was had.

that and being glad i was on one of the topbunks when brim tried to pee on fisher :D and knowing that i'm likely too high up for him to reach if i were snoring.
