Title: What was the old website name?

The one that was strictly for pistols? I lost the link for it. Is it still up?

There was the Airsoldier(HaveBlue's) Side Arm Shooting Enthusiasts(SASE) forum but that got hacked last spring and never returned I'm afraid. Other than that, there's here of course and a sidearm section at MCarterBrown and many forums that touch on particular models. Was there something in particular you were looking for?

Ah yes, I remember now.

Suxor. (I like that word, very descriptive).

Nope, I just used to like to drift over there once and awhile. Kinda like the PGPOG, good information was on it. This sight still hasn't fully recovered either. There are just so many bits and pieces scattered all over the web. Like B starting the NOG all over again.

I'm getting sorta tired of all the culture wars going on and kinda wanted to go introverted and get in touch with my "pistolero" side (In spite of the recent unfortunate incident). I thought I might take a little vacation over to SASE.

I have two long guns, a Mag and a Phantom, and a medium gun (Razorback with a dropout) and my Tiny Mag and a 007 that I use and of course a PGP and PMI-1 I can't get rid of (can't get rid of the brass).

My last three game days were with the Razorback and 007, before that I mostly played with the PGP.

I'm really impressed with your film of the semi you have rigged up. Very nice. It just has me thinking. I really couldn't have used anything more than the a pump though recently. The competition has been sorta light. I'm not that good, they're just really that bad.

I have a little trip to take for a few months then hopefully I can get the Tiny Mag set up and go play against the KC and St Louis guys when I get back.

I was told I will still have access to internet where I'm going so I hope you guys play a lot and write even more so I can live life vicariously.

Thanks for the intel on what happened to the old site.

No problemo!

I liked it there and here too. It's nice to be able to find the other birds of your feather with just one clicky.
On MCB it was like that, we have the sidearm section now but there's a 10 volume encyclopedia of pistol threads floating around in the Dead Zone and Member's Only areas from when we didn't have one. You'd have to search and threads would suddenly start up again after a month because someone didn't see it at first.
I must admit, though I play with my P68SC often(I'll be belting it on saturday), I haven't played a 'stock class only' game in years and I'm not that psyched about it, I enjoy open play best.
A person should be able to use whatever they want, that way they won't have any excuses when I shoot them anyway .
But I love coming here for the pistol talk! Browsing the other sections has taught me alot though too, I rate this forum very well.

I've been kicking around getting a helmetcam, one of the Oregon Scientific types. A friend of mine has suggested that I get two, one on each side so that I can change perspective when I shoot each hand. I liked the idea of a split screen as I shoot at the same time whenever possible. Maybe I'll put you up some pistol movies! I'd love to show off a few Hickoks(anytime you fire both guns at once and hit with both that's a Wild Bill)
In any event, I'll keep you posted!

I had a P68SC, a little too nose heavy for me. It sure intimidated people though. Everyone thought it would shoot farther becasue of the long barrel. I never told them otherwise.

I would like to get a K pistol grip for the PMI1 though.....someday.

I'll have to kick over to the sidearm section at MCB and see what's cooking.

This last winter I had a chance to play against/with some of the Damage Inc crew at my local indoor field. I got there too late though (snowstorm) and only got one game in. It was cool, pump and pistols. Lots of KPs and TAG8s.

I will miss Jaegers and playing in the caves.

I didn't know about the stuff on MCB ... i visit everyonce in a while and browse the BST's but that's about it.

since I've made the decision to go full SC Pistolero style with the PGP and PUG (after i sell my semi stuff) I'll be looking for some like minded people as well ... I'll take a browse tonight on MCB and see what's over there.

There's a new site that started up recently
SAOG - Side Arm Owners Group

It's still in it's beginning stages with only 37 users as of this post. If you haven't signed up, I'd say nows the time. Get us pistolero's together.
