Title: My Mag project

Dark_star85 - February 18, 2007 10:34 PM (GMT)
Welp, i got really bored so i decided to try to make my old 68 Classic Mag as close to stock class as possible. I dont have a straight elbow to stick the 10 round tubes in so i need some of the Mcguyvers on here to help me out with comming up with some ideas to hold em in with.

I'm not really sure about the Mag's effiency with 12g's so i might switch to using a 3.5oz instead, we'll see. Also sorry about the crappy pic quality, i took them on my phone because i couldn't find my camera at the moment.

Have you thought about a CCI phantom feed gate? That might do the trick! Nice little package!
I believe http://www.wevopaintball.com could hook you up, it's the clear piece with the soft rubber gate in this pic, but comes in colors too.

i'd suggest putting that 12ie closer to the valve or get macro line. ... not micro ... but macro ... that'll get you one or two extra shots

I think you've got it backward. When running 12grams, you want as little expansion as possible and would therefore run a Micro line. I could be wrong though....

I got 15 good shots on my H/R Mag the other day. It's a Level 7 stock valve with a 12 gram changer in the Vert ASA with Macro line right now.

(Here's an old pic, pre-Dye {snickers at all the Carter owners})

I just got a 3.5 and haven't filled it yet to see how that works. I'm running a Winchester hopper for ball feed. I have a two piece Dye 10" for a barrel. It looks a little rough but is very capable.

Sorry, no current pictures, no camera.

I played woodsball the other day with my 007. I would have slaughtered them with my Mag, even running twelvies. :P
