i was on www.stratovarius.com when i read the disturbing news on the front page. it seems there's a lot of tension between the band members and there is a possiblity there might be a new line-up pretty soon. this cannot happen!! it's gonna be so hard to find musicians half as talented as them! shit, if this happens, strato might be OVER which would kill me

timo tolkki's the whole band, pretty much, right? unless he doesn't want the band to go on, then stratovarius is still going to exist.

yes, but the thing is, the drummer (jorg michael), the keyboardist (jens johansson), and the singer (timo kotipelto) are very talented! i mean, if they do leave, where is TT goin to find guys half as talented as them? they're hard to come by. and i'm not saying that jari kainulainen (bass) isn't talented, it's that he definitely is not leaving because TT said so. i think the lineup of stratovarius right now is what makes them great :(

me and matty g made the discovery that in the booklet of elements part 2, jorg michael looks like an old greasy hobo. hes totally the man though.

ok if you were paying any attention at all to the thread youd know that timo tolkii is the one kicking people out. hes not leaving.

man, if jorg michael leaves the band, i don't know what i'll do. I mean, the guy is the genius behind all the band's greatest hits, and he's the reason a lot of people got into stratovarius in the first place, myself included. he's proof that looks can make a band a lot more appealing. plus, he's by far the coolest member of any metal band ever. especially on the inside booklet of elements 2.

i don't think people give timo kotipelto enough credit. he may not do much, but he is the voice of stratovarius

its just so obvious that he gets credit so it's good to give people like jens johansen credit too because i mean come on he blew up a friggen toilet on the dvd!

and when it was Jari's birthday on stage the band threw cake in his face. then Jens took another cake and put it in his own face and it wasnt even his birthday. How cool is that. that proves that Jens Johansen is the man. timo kotipelto is totally the man also.

its sad to see kotipelto leave. i was kind of expecting jorg to leave(which doesnt bother me that much). but its not going to be the same without kotipelto. i think that tolki should sing again. hes no kotipelto but still it would be the original stratovarius. i am just glad jens johanssen is still in the band.

neither koti or jorg should've left. the band will not be the same, but they're still gonna be great. i know it

honestly, it won't really change a thing, besides losing kotipelto's lyrics on a few random songs. honestly, he doesn't have a voice that's that unique; he sounds like any other 80's era metal singer.
