well at the AFI show a few months ago, jerry only of the misfits was fartin' around the area and anyway after afi's 1st song, alucard got lost in the oblivion of a wild audience while i was chillin on the balcony at roseland ballroom in NYC. so after AFI began playing Lost Souls we couldnt see ol' alucard anymore and he popped up out of nowhere with a crazy story of how he met jerry only at the bar like 100 feet away from me. i look over, and Jerry's waltzing around the balcony i was shocked. so i took my ass over to the bar where he was chillin and we had a zany convo about the Scream music video, AFI, playing bass, etc. Jerry only is the man. so he shook my hand like 40 times, we both got his autograph, and i let him have his drink and went back to the balcony to enjoy the rest of the awsome AFI concert. i didnt think they'd play God Called In Sick Today but they did for their last song, and davy havok jumped into the audience and they literally held him up on his knees it was awsome.
so then we got home at like 1 am and i had a science test the next day. completely shit. oh well it was worth it all.

well your a little too late nil, the concert was 2 days ago and we already went. and stop trying to be cool you dont even like them.

the day started when squall3x, herb, matty g, this kid peter and I went to asbury park beach. they were playing at the stone pony. the first band was a band called D.I. they were awesome. Then came a japanese punk band from japan called Balzac, they were AMAZING. then came Agnostic front. they were pretty good. then came The Dickies. they here hilarious. a very shibidydoo band. Then came THe Damned. they were pretty good. Then finally, the whole reason why we all drove down there cramped in a car for 2 hours. The Misfits came on. Jerry Only on vocals and bass, Dez Cadena on guitars and backup vocals (black flag) and Marky Ramone on drums ( the ramones). the opening song was Hybrid moments. THis was the best concets of my life. I loved every minute of it. the coolerst thing about that day was the fact that jerry only remembered me from the last time i met him at the AFI show. He noticed my haircut. and at the end i drought home a drumstick autographed by the misfits. Balzac CD autographed by the lead singer. and a ticket stub autographed by the lead singer and the drummer of D.I. Like is said before this was the best concet of my life.

this is my view of that same misfits concert. only ZANIER.

ok so me, alucard, and matty g got to the boardwalk at like 11 am and met herb and his friend peter. so we chilled in front of the gates and watched the misfits practice some songs and tune up. then marky ramone walked out and we were all like oh my god its marky ramone and matty g told me to say hi to him so i yelled 'marky ramone is the man' and he turned around, waved, and then walked away. he was the man. then we hang out until like 1:30 where we were finally let into the area of the show. we found out that like 10 bands are gonna be playing and the misfits go on at 7:30 at night. so we hung around for like 7 hours, saw some cool bands like the Dickies, (hilarious), DI, and Balzac (the japanese punk bands, similar to the misfits) and lemme tell you we were dying to see Balzac cause they rule. during some local bands performances, Dez Cadena (guitar of misfits and black flag) waltzes out and im the first one to go get his autograph. later we all met jerry only (me and alucard's second time) he remembered alucard from the AFI show but i dont know if he remembered me. after i got jerrys autograph all i needed was marky ramone and my ticket stub was filled. but he never came out so i got the lead singer of Balzac's autograph on the other side cause hes the man.
at about 8:00, after the Damned performed, misfits finally went on, and put on an excellent show. they played all the songs we all wanted them to play, and didnt them expect to play. some classics like 'we are 138', 'last caress', and 'halloween' along with some new stuff from the project 1950 album and ya know we rocked out the whole time it was amazingly fun. they even played some ramones songs like 'blitzkrieg bop', 'i wanna be sedated', 'pet semetary', and 'the kkk took my baby away.' and the classic black flag song 'rise above'. awsome stuff right there.
so after the misfits were done and we were ready to leave, Balzac (the whole band) was hanging out near the gate so i finally got to meet them all. they didnt speak any english so i spoke a tiny japanese to them just to let them know that they rule. anyway, we left, with some zany memories and some zany shit. it was an awsome day to say the least and one we will never forget.

offspring was my favorite band for a long time. pretty fly for a white guy killed that.
deadsy's lead singer's dad is dee snider of twisted sister. so he get's credit for that.not a big fan though.

i saw korn at ozzfest. nothing bad to say about them.
recover was ok live.

after that havent seen any others you saw.
reel big fish is a band to see live. only way to get the full feel for the song "one" is to see metallica play it live. if you ever get the chance see the seatbelts go. not often they come to the usa but when they do. wow.

well, I saw the Chili Peppers back right before Californication came out, and it was really good.

However, Misfits take the cake. It was like having an orgasm for an hour and a half.

Balzac kicked, DI and the Dickies were really hilarious and fun, and Agnostic Front and the Damned were kinda cool live, nothing very special though. The Damned made realy good music but they didn't do jack shit on stage, other than the keyboardist, who is the man. Agnostic Front were just cool because all the mohawks in the mosh pit were fun to watch when they played.
