Title: Do You Want Anarchy and Peace?

franky4fingers - May 23, 2003 10:59 PM (GMT)
anarchy . Absence of government; the state of society where there is no law or supreme power; a state of lawlessness; political confusion.
i'm pretty sure not every one knew what anarchy ment 100%
i can tell by reading the posts.

I would like Anarchy in peace thoughout the world.. no rules or anything.. I'm not saying this because i wanna do what ever i want... I think that if there where no laws or government ... there would be no use to steal or kill people or have any war... I think we would kind of live like the indains used to live..

Crystal Phoenix - May 21, 2003 03:12 AM (GMT)
That kinda sounds like perfect Communism. But that didn't work, did it?

herb - May 21, 2003 03:14 AM (GMT)
Well not really any government i mean there would be no technology or anything like that just peace living in peace and comfort..

B.P.B. - May 21, 2003 04:14 AM (GMT)
Comfort!? People would kill you because you're there! No rules means no currency, which means o stealing, wqhich means no punishment which means that crimes will be perfectly legal.

franky4fingers - May 21, 2003 07:39 AM (GMT)
as much as i hate saying this. rules are needed. if not hell on earth will ensue.
moralty would go down much more than it already has. think about it.
your walking home because somebody stole your car. on the way you stop to get a cup off coffee. the place is being held up. you keep on walking. down a alley. a underage girl is being raped. you keep walking. and you notice all the drug dealers at every corner. finaly you get home to find your self robbed and your house brunt to the ground. and keep in mind it's allright. there's nothing there to tell you it's wrong. the world is full of heathens. no rules+heathens=hell on earth

Nil B - May 21, 2003 08:34 PM (GMT)
It would be great if we had peace however Anarchy sounds good (no laws u can do whatever u want)

Yes but it thibk that if we did it right no one would have a reason to steal your stuff or anythnig like that....

this what i think...

Anarchy would be great. not a care in the world, people could live their lives with no worries, they could do whatever they want, they would'nt have to worry about wars, or goverments ticking them off, there would be peace, and every nation would be independent.

But, since all these nations are so goddamn stubborn, this world isn't even close to being able to handle Anarchy. We need a government and since we do, there are people in this world that already do whatever the fuck they want, and people like Saddam that can't live without fighting and being the evil reckless maniac he is. People in this world now can't handle Anarchy because what we see now, murderers, thieves, terrorists, rapists, etc... think of what the world would be like if people were alloud to do that? i mean if our world was in order, people would know better not to do that stuff even if there were no rules. But since everyone is so fucked up, we should be thankful we have a government and that there are rules.

and thats the truth.

Swordslinger - May 24, 2003 01:27 AM (GMT)
I've thought about this before, it can't work, well not in the world we live in, because to get what you need people have to work and make it, why would they work without getting anything from it. this would be a useless existance. But Herb wants something like the Garden of Eden, which may work, i dont really know.

I know what anarchy is. I didn't sit through a whole year of AP World History and not learn anything. I remember when our teacher told us how anarchism, which is normally associated with violence, is actually focused on a utopian society in which people can get along perfectly without a government to direct them. Think about it: if your parents leave you home alone, are you still gonna follow every single rule they set out for you? If they don't normally let you watch TV on weekdays, and then they go out and leave you alone for a couple hours on a Wednesday, are you gonna obey them and stay away from the TV? Or are you gonna watch your favorite program while they're gone? Another example, when my parents are home, my bro doesn't bother me too much. But as soon as they go out to a movie, all hell breaks loose. Humans need someone there to give them direction, whether they know it or not. We just can't seem to get along without someone there to keep us in line.

If that made any sense, good. If not, leave me alone cuz I'm thinking on an hour of sleep…Basically, anarchism is completely opposed to things like capitalism, feudalism, etc. Anything that says people can't work together without someone there to order them around.

i think we need laws to be good

B.P.B. - May 24, 2003 10:34 PM (GMT)
Maybe the laws should be abit more lax. The government is way too astringent.

Gordy - May 25, 2003 02:36 AM (GMT)
Lax?
anyway..... you see, 1, there are too many people in the world, and with anarchy, too many people is bad, cuz dont you ever feel like just shootin the guy who just ran into you and knocked your shit down in the crowded streets , and then he didnt care? well, you probably wont have a gun cuz of law restrictions, and even if you did, you know youd get in trouble for it, so i would kill like 20 people a day, and i probably would not even be alive right now if there was anarchy. also, society is so fucked up with all the assholes and gangsters wanting to be violent and steal and shit and rap telling people do do stuff like that(and not to mention insane morons like saddam), that the world would be run by them, there would be no technological advancvement because they would be repressive(so you could forget about Video games and computers, and even if you did have them, they would be stolen), there would be no education because there is this thing going around that says being smart is stupid(?). it just wouldnt work unbless there was complete universal peace.

B.P.B. - May 25, 2003 05:46 PM (GMT)
Anarchy and peace would be good if everyone was all well-behaved and shit.

Raven - May 30, 2003 03:50 AM (GMT)
Anarchy is very good thing but its sounds good in the beginning but you need fucking laws because the humans cant control themselves. Its temptation. Humans kill because they can they have the fucking power. i the hate goverment but for the first time in my life Im happy that it exist. So its good that we have some jackass controling the shit that happens. And plus if we lived in a anarchy world everybody would be dead.

Raven ok I see you were on the roll on something. ANARCHY ALL THE WAY

B,P,B, - June 1, 2003 08:59 PM (GMT)
Streets would be litterally covered with bodies, gunshots would constantly ring out, the bigest gang would prevail and all shall be lost...

Raven - June 1, 2003 09:27 PM (GMT)
Yup.. A dead world

B.P.B. - June 1, 2003 11:55 PM (GMT)
First, a small group of the strongest would survive...about 100,000. Next, they would battle to the death to claim a higher rank in the small group. Soon, one man would be left and would kill himself due to lonliness.

Raven - June 2, 2003 12:18 AM (GMT)
DEAD!!!

B.P.B. - June 2, 2003 02:00 AM (GMT)
Yes. You've made your point.

Raven - June 4, 2003 10:51 PM (GMT)
yup I can see that

B.P.B. - June 4, 2003 11:07 PM (GMT)
Then stop posting.
I'm done here til this shit gets back on topic.

Eden - May 7, 2004 04:22 PM (GMT)
anarchy will definitly not mean peace. in fact it will make things worse.
