violence has arrived is their only album that i actually think positively about. its all about immortal corrupter. also, carnival of chaos is ok because it has the private pain of techno destructo on it.

Gwar is okay..... its just there are planty of better bands out there. i havent heard too much stuff from them, and i dont know many song names, but i did listen throught 2 1/2 CD's at your house, plus that seton hall Radi0o station plays gwar all the time(but they rarely tall what songs they are playing). i guess i just dont really like the lead singer, i mean, the instumentals are good, and there are so many of them, but the lead singer just doesnt care. he sings like a drunken retard with a speech impediment. the girl sings better.

and yeah, meat sandwich is one of the few songs i know that he can pull of his drunken retard voice.

gwar is ok. i saw them live at a club in 1988. they had a bunch of fake blood and fake executions. i thought it was pretty cool. i hear they are much better now. i havent heard any of their new stuff yet. the only record i heard from them is Hell-o. and i have it on vinyl. it was pretty good.

despite its shitty sound quality, i really like what i've heard off of Hell-O. Especially how they sound live (the gwar theme pretty much sucked on record, but then i heard it on live from antartica and it was fucking awesome). Plus, Jock Cuestow (don't know the rest of the name of that song) is by far one of my top 5 gwar songs.

But, Violence has Arrived is Gwar's most focused, "We're here to kick ass" record since Hell-o...plus they've gotten much better since then. Blooger.

the reason why violence has arrived is so different from the other gwar albums is because it focuses on the history of gwar. when they were warriors. before they came to earth and got hooked on drugs.

That might be what they classified Violence Has Arrived in inside their storyline (which is a cool novelty thing, but kinda...not serious. Not that it's supposed to be) but the real reason that album kicks so much ass is because the members had been hearing how everyone was saying how irreverent Gwar'ed become in the past few years. Makes sense though, they're definitely theatrical geniuses (I mean, cutting Slymenstra Hymen open and beating the shit outta her and Oterus' baby was hilarious and touched me..in many ways)
