Anyway, my favourite hero would probably be Odysseus, the archer champion who fought at Troy, and went through exhausting hardships on his way home to Ithaca.

Tough choice, but I too would have to go with Odysseus. The Odyssey is one of my favorites... if not the favorite :cool: Arguably the most crafty and intelligent of all Greek heroes :)
