How do I kill the monster towards the end of the game that is like a puppet with a long tail?

I cut it down using the boomarang but it lands and hitting it doesn't hurt it. Also tried attacking from the ledges but that doesn't work.

What is the tin couldron for jumping in it can protect you from the monster, but it must hav another use!

the tin thing is a teleporter thing which teleports u to some where at the top of the room which u cant use yet.

to kill the pupet just shoot the blue ball on its tail with a light arrow.(u will need to do this 3 times)

in second form look at the reflection of the spider in the water and try to make it so u are near its tail then shoot the blue thing (u will need to do this 3 times)

in third form u shoot the ball on the tail with a light arrow 3 times. if u want u can stop it from movinf for a second by attacking its face with the master sword then shoot its tail.
