How do you pass Level 9, first quest of the Legend of Zelda, © 1986? This is the one where Link has to beat Gannon. Does the sheild actually serve a purpose here? I can find my way through level 9 fine, but the in the end, I enter a room with a beast that turns invisible, but Link snatches the triforce and the room to the north and south are baracaded until this beast is defeated. I have all the accessories except for a) food, b) shield.

Actually hes really easy to beat just swing at him with your sword after around five or six times he will turn gray thats when you use your silver arrows on him thats about it (carry a potion just in case)
