Cool, I thought, after figuring out how to kill the centipede in dragon's castle. But then what? I felt a little lonely and dumb sitting there on the rock in the middle of all the lava... Is this a red herring or have I missed something? I assume I need to go on from there to get to the next floor up...

I'm lost... :lol: Are talking about the boss centipede in Dragon Roost Cavern? If you've beaten him, you just take your heart container and the game progresses...

i think your talking about the centepede in the room w/ all the water pots, if thats true you need to take the water onto the rocka nd make a peice of land in the lava over where the fire shoots up, then u jump on it and you get shot up to the second floor.
