Hey guys,

I did my first photoshop picture within the last few days and wondered if you guys had any pointers or advice? I inked it with Rapidograph pens and then colored it in photoshop.



The picture is of a character I created for a graphic novel I hope to make... eventually.

(I'm probably a little ambitious though. hehe)

:huh: awsome stuff Validus, I'm guessing he is evil.. what with all the black white and red..

nice! but his body seems a bit too small for his head...or the other way around. I love the shading and highlights you did

lol, ya I thought about that. He does look mis-proportioned a bit. His hands, feet, and head are big and his body is small.

But oh well. lol

And yes he is supposed to be evil. hehe

His right arm looks way out of proportion (his right) it just looks way too long.

his legs are also too short, and too thin compared to his torso. the right hand should be smaller too, since its in the background.

oh nice pic! and the hands and the head are not the problems.. they CAN be as they are.. like the guys said, are the legs really too short..(ok, you already got it, ;P)

but for the total rating of the pic...
uhm.. the pose is kinda soft.. not really expressing what it should(I think)..
and kinda *lifeless*..
