Title: Robo Ending
Description: Cart Glitch
GalaxyFalcon - April 23, 2005 10:37 PM (GMT)
Hey. Well i think it was posted several times in diffrent posts, but it hasnt had its own area.
When you leave Robo with Fiona in 600A.D. and beat the game, Robo is still there, at the ending, regardless of having picked him up or not.
I think it would be a good idea if the team could correct the error, and if you do not return for Robo, he is not at the ending.
This could potentially mean that you could be missing Crono, Magus, and Robo from your party at the same time. Thats all the men except Frog. =P
But anyway, thought some attention should be brought to it..
Sir_Crono531 - April 24, 2005 06:18 AM (GMT)
Yea good idea, I completely forgot all about robo (maybe because he just sucks and is useless half the game :P ) hehe, but yea, it's a minor difference but hey, it'll make the people happy to know you corrected a glitch that not even the makers of CT corrected!
Bolshoi - April 24, 2005 06:39 AM (GMT)
So you're saying we could make Frog a pimp? Interesting idea. lol that could be a new ending in itself
Crotus - April 24, 2005 04:40 PM (GMT)
Well I don't really care much since I almosy never use him.But whatever... :P
Marcel - April 25, 2005 10:37 AM (GMT)
Awesome, that way I can finally REALLY erase Robo from the rest of the game when I reach the Fiona sidequest! Good call falcon :D
GalaxyFalcon - April 25, 2005 09:10 PM (GMT)
Yeah, im suprised more people havnt actually noticed it. No one really considers leaving Robo there.
Does anyone notice that none of the females die?
Crotus - April 25, 2005 09:24 PM (GMT)
Yes,There to yummy to let them die......Marle...If you were only real...
I mean Ya... How strange But from now on I'l leave Robo there to rot and die  WHAWHAAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHA!
GalaxyFalcon - April 26, 2005 01:15 AM (GMT)
Wow, Crotus, are we entertaining a little Fantasy there?

Why are you laughing, Crotus? You're supposed to be engaging Marle in your fantasy.... :P
GalaxyFalcon - April 26, 2005 08:10 PM (GMT)
lol! Well, if you ask me, it would be kinda hard to entertain or, *cough* engage in a fantasy with a 32-Bit charecter.
64 bits though...

Not all of us. Just those who wish to partake in fantasies in which women have more to offer.

LOL, rpgfan, your a riot.
okay, well maybe not a riot but that was funny all the same.
lol, but I definently think there could be some hope for Crotus yet if somone gave him a 64bit marle.
Or a marle doll
or a stuffed life-size action figure with all new AuroaWhirl action

Depends on your definition of
more to offer

man, you give Robo such a hard time. He's not that bad of a character.
GalaxyFalcon - May 1, 2005 04:30 AM (GMT)
He's better than Ayla, i think.
Sir_Crono531 - May 1, 2005 02:15 PM (GMT)
Galaxy, is your head on straight? Because it seems like it. Man, ayla is insanely much better than robo, I mean who else has a critical attack of 9,999!?, she has the highest attack in the whole game period. Hell I even got Lucca with a higher attack then robo.
rpgfan3233 - May 1, 2005 02:30 PM (GMT)
Robo's HP just sucks compared to your other characters when you get him, so it's easy to see why people think he is the worst character in the game. Ayla is better when you get her, even if you include Robo in all of your battles (just counting the main battles that you have to fight, not the intentional battles to level up or gain items).
Lucca with a higher atk than Robo? Of course, you get Lucca before you get Robo, so Lucca's better than Robo.... or not.......
IMHO, any character is better than Robo. Though I didn't use Ayla much, I have to admit that after seeing what Robo could(n't) do in the first few battles after recruiting him, he pretty much left my mind.

lol. I really dont like Ayla, i never use her.
Heyjohnny - May 2, 2005 05:23 AM (GMT)
I personally don't think it's that big of a deal whether or not he stays where he was......It might be more realistic if he did stay where he was though

Haha, I don't dislike him because of his techs, I really think he's a very effective character with both decent healing and damaging qualities.
I just think he's a lame Robot. For sooth.
In short: he isn't that bad a character, if it weren't for him not having any character.
Stoney - May 2, 2005 11:01 PM (GMT)
In any case, Robo seems a lot better than Grobyc's cliched talk-with-a-hyphen-between-each-word dialect. I think his character was very well developed; for Heaven's sake, look at the campfire scene after the Fiona's Forest side-quest, and the Atropos scenes in the Mother Brain side-quest!
Also: in my copy of CT, Robo's HP is 9,999. He's got the highest HP of any member in my party. :D
Plus, his defensive qualities are superb if you raise them right. If I'm facing a difficult opponent, I'll throw Robo into the fight because I know he'll outlast the enemy. He's one of the main reasons that I can beat Lavos during a normal game (i.e. not 'New Game +').
GalaxyFalcon - May 3, 2005 05:43 AM (GMT)
okay, yeah, stoney you just sumed up my thing about robo. so, yeah..Robo coo
