Title: Suggestion
Description: to Brain/Mods

Hey guys I was wondering if you would get looser with the maximum values of the forums.
could you change the avatar size from 64X64 to 110 by 150?
I've been trying to get my avy in, but I was forced to cut it :(

you dont need to make the width any bigger, since I know you guys would not enjoy huge space taking avys, but I personally think that the avy above would be right size eh? maybe its just me, but that was just a suggestion. I hope you guys consider it. thanks!

Um, can't you simply resize it? What is so bad about the image being cut down? I think that the avy you want to use is a bit big. Maybe 100x100 would be more suitable. I don't recommend going any higher though, until most of the world uses 1600x1280 resolution (I think). By then, so many things will have changed...
Linux will be the operating system of choice by home users rather than MS Windows, IP addresses will be converted to hexadecimal (or if they can't be, they will simply be unable to access the Internet), all platforms will support a new type of transparency known as "mango", and the world will no longer require any religious leaders.
Hmm.... Kind of reminds me of 1999 A.D....

yeah but Im ok with a small width size. you have to admit, if we make the height size bigger it will make no change whatsoever to the layout of the thread.

Thats true, but it would look messier, i think.

I don't have a problem with this as long as the KB size can be kept only slightly larger than the original. It's a real pain when dialup users like myself have to wait minutes for a page to load because someone's signature or avatar is so huge (remember that "big" on dialup is around 200KB, under 100 is preferred.)
BrownMan - April 10, 2005 04:36 PM (GMT)
well...avys even big (unanimated) are usually below 80 kb

 ya know I actually talked about avi and sig sizes with Brain a while back, he said that he actually has no control over it, that it was a set limit by invisionfree.
BrownMan - April 12, 2005 01:34 AM (GMT)
Ive tinkered around invision free boards a lot, and yeah you can change that. he just said that so you would stop bugging him  jk

 I figured that out a while ago when I went to the
FF Forum , nice place small but nice.

I guess people are so inferior who can't pay out the ass for better gfx cards.

It appea-as dat Duranix has got da pimpin ardware.
My school uses 800x600 still and I unfortunately don't have admin privileges to change it (for obvious reasons). This means that if I went as high as 2048x1536, my eyes would seriously mess up because of the huge difference between my school's res and my own res. It's easier to just wait for the rest of the world to catch up than to spend hundreds/thousands of US dollars on eye surgery when I could use that to buy better hardware. Of course, I don't have that much, so..... :(

 well back on subject, Brain or if possible anyother teammember are you ever gonna change the avi alowed size... I mean damn look at my avi.. its SPAM qaulity just because its a little bigger than 64x64
rpgfan3233 - April 20, 2005 11:54 PM (GMT)
Hopefully InvisionFree supports this without having to backup all of the information, transport everything to a new board with the settings saved. If all of that was required, I just wouldn't do it because it's simply too much of a hassle.
Knives101 - April 22, 2005 07:09 AM (GMT)
 If that were true I wouldn't either.
But just so you know this is the avi I would like to use its only

100x100.. maybe less its been awhile so I could be wrong.. but when I trans it here it shrinks to bite size peices.. which blows... cause I think its a really cool avi.
