Maybe he's saying thanks for making it so easy for him to hack the CTRP site? I don't know actually, but his name IS "Renegade"... :P Just kidding about the hacking part. I doubt that anybody would deface such an awesome and noble effort to recreate one of the greatest video games ever!

No, it was just a case of bad grammar, possibly caused by being rushed to go to work because he/she was almost late.
The "a+" part referred to Renegade congratulating the team. The "bye" is pretty self-explanatory.
