Yea, that'd be awesome lol. Although I can kinda already draw somewhat good. Lol. Anyways I'm not sure if he is the best here or not because I've also heard Alezunde is an "art god", or so Brain puts it.

 lol, thanks very much, and that german-jokes from US people are always amuzing me a lot ^^ hahahaha..

PS: I'm not german, only born and grown here ^^...

Duranix - March 15, 2005 04:08 AM (GMT)
that makes u partly german :P

the way it works here in australia, is

if you live here, your australian.

if your born here and grew up here, then ur australian.

if u just migrated here, your still australian :P

Sir_Crono531 - March 16, 2005 01:48 AM (GMT)
That's not how it is over here in the U.S. Well, where I live anyway. Wherever you were born, thats what you are and nothing else.

KingH - March 16, 2005 02:30 AM (GMT)
yes, I'm agreeing with the fact that it doesn't matter where you're parents from.

Only thing is that if for example, Turkey plays against germany, I'm 200% for turkey! :D .. and just have NO feels like "my germany" or somethin.. hmm..

I think you are "HOW you grew up" not "where", or where your parents are from..
And your point comes from the fact, that the MOST people are f.e: Australian if they grew up there, BECAUSE they grew up *australianly* ... don't think so?

Duranix - March 21, 2005 04:43 AM (GMT)
so... you up for it moogs?

Moogle Man - March 21, 2005 04:48 AM (GMT)
uhhh maybe? lol
I dunno, wanna be more specific as what you want help on?

Duranix - March 21, 2005 04:55 AM (GMT)
lol

maybe just a drawing tutorial as a whole....

sorta like

step 1: Draw a circle as shown in figure 2.1

step 2: add a hair line, and mark somewhere on it with an X as shown in figure 2.2.

etc etc :P

lots of us would appreciate it :P

i draw "ok".... not good, not bad... id like to be able to draw as good as you :) Your the best!

Almighty_Gir - March 21, 2005 09:28 AM (GMT)
mmmm i dont think theres a way to really do tutorials on drawing.. maybe the process leading to the drawing, like how to lay out the image, to set the diorama, to pose the figures with stickmen first for proportion etc. you can do tutorials for that, but i dont think you can do one for the ACTUAL drawing process, thats something that just comes with practice...

however, a simple google search will come up with anything you need ;)

one of my favorites: http://www.polykarbon.com/

on a further note, KingH, you apear to have a few issues to deal with regarding self esteem. im unsure whether you dont like that people dont feel your as good as others, or whether you feel your better than everyone else. either way, your attitude to art apears to be one of competitiveness and vain, i suggest you try realising that art is a form of expression, only then will you "get good". this may be another reason why your not on the team (that and we already have enough fantabulous concept artists.)

Chuckles - March 21, 2005 08:47 PM (GMT)
Yeah, PolyKarbon is awesome.

Moogle Man - March 22, 2005 12:28 AM (GMT)
Well polykarbon was one of the first pages I went to, not so much as for tutorials but rather to see how some of the more experienced artists were drawing (this was years ago, back when more of the professional artists were on the board).

In my opinoin, essentially, the best thing you can do is look and see how other people draw and if you see something you like try to incorporate it into the way you draw. Or hell, just go copy them to see if you can draw like they did (just dont go around saying it's your original piece).

And as Gir said, it's not really possible to give an exact way I draw since I just do it. Like on tutorials they say "draw a circle, etc." I don't do that, so I don't know how helpful a tutorial of how I draw would help. I mean I don't draw a head first I start fro m the eyes and draw out from there, that already goes against what most tutorials on the web say to do. It would be much easier and understandable to do a colouring tutorial. I can still put up the way I draw if you want.
