Title: Chrono brake

Marcel - March 10, 2005 12:32 PM (GMT)
Hey, since the Chrono Break domain name was given up, and square only has the Chrono Brake domain left, shouldn't this board be changed to Chrono Brake too, instead of Chrono Break?
Not that it's important or anything, but IF there'll ever be a sequel it's more likely to be Brake than break right?

Negus - March 10, 2005 03:39 PM (GMT)
I and I suppose that's a valid point. Yes. Your ideas intrigue I and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

WolfPack - March 11, 2005 01:33 AM (GMT)
Well, its not a sure thing that if it did come out it would be brake. I mean look at Return of the Jedi, Orginally george had it as Return, then changed it to Revenge, then turned it back to Return 2 weeks before it came out. So it is possible it could be break. ;) :P ;)

Marcel - March 15, 2005 04:36 PM (GMT)
Oh no, my lack of point is being utterly disposed! I'm melting......

Knives101 - March 15, 2005 06:23 PM (GMT)
 that tends to happen from time to time these days.

WolfPack - March 23, 2005 09:12 PM (GMT)
We could always divide up his post count.

Marcel - April 4, 2005 10:42 AM (GMT)
Uhm... I'm not sure you would want my things.

They smell funny.

edit:  You already have FIFTEEN times my postcount!! that's just plain sick!!!

Stoney - April 4, 2005 02:56 PM (GMT)
*sniffs* Yeah, Marcel's right, guys. His things smell like moose flatulence. :P

By the way, what does melting into a puddle feel like? I'm curious to know. :D

Marcel - April 4, 2005 04:41 PM (GMT)
I've alway thought of it more as a cheesy or 'challenging' odeur.

Melting into a puddle is actually less aggravating than you might think. In a while, you get over it, and start looking at the bright side of things again. Being a puddle gave my life a whole new dimension of 'fluidness', and gave me a push in the right direction.

People ought to trry it more often. :ph43r:

...I don't believe it. April 1st has recently passed, but I felt I should just pass this along. This likely is yet-another cruel joke played by some moron. All the CT fans in the world likely would enjoy killing these people... <_<

rpgfan3233 - April 7, 2005 02:19 AM (GMT)
Unless it's real, as in 3D CT.

Stoney - April 7, 2005 02:48 AM (GMT)
Could someone please translate the Japanese text on that ad?? I can't even understand what the title of the game is... <_<

Apoc, where the hell did you FIND this advertisement at??

Knives101 - April 7, 2005 06:17 AM (GMT)
 Looks like a add for the wildarms 1 remake coming out next month. The dude in the picture kinda looks like the hero user posted image rudy roughnight, and before you give me SPAM he does use a sword in the game also.

Marcel - April 7, 2005 12:27 PM (GMT)
Have you read the article that comes with it? He's really careful in his formulation, so I don't recommend killing anyone. Yet.

But seriously, can someone please translate the text in the picture? I'm curious...

Negus - April 7, 2005 01:17 PM (GMT)
The odds that anything like that could be real, brethren, are so slim. We've dealt with this many times before and the Chrono series is a ripe venue for farses and such since no continuation is in sight. Be patient, brethren.

Stoney - April 7, 2005 02:03 PM (GMT)
Okay. After reading the article that Marcel was nice enough to link to, I've learned that the name on the poster is Chrono Trigger: Sands of Time. And in the bottom right-hand corner, it says "Winter 2005".

I've also learned that this poster is apparently a poor Photoshop job. Meh, I don't know what to believe anymore... :( <_<

Negus - April 7, 2005 05:56 PM (GMT)
We suffer, brethren! I and I suffer! Is there no way to find any concrete evidence??

BrownMan - April 7, 2005 07:14 PM (GMT)
this is such a horrible phtoshop job

even a novice at p7/Cs would be able to conjure up something three or four times as good. and for gods sake, why would the dude who made this leave the default photoshop colours, jeez. all he did was stick some pictures and used the "blending options" trick.... <_< really makes me mad

Negus - April 7, 2005 07:30 PM (GMT)
Quite frankly, brethren, the figure in the picture bears a pretty poor resemblance to Crono, seen? :D

BrownMan - April 7, 2005 08:14 PM (GMT)
jaja. CHrono Brake is definetly coming out in winter 2005

confirmed news at....well no. sorry :D

\btw I made that poster thingie, took about 5 minutes :P

Negus - April 7, 2005 08:26 PM (GMT)
Jah! That is brilliant, BrownMan! Thank you! Proof that just about anything can be made to look remotely convincing to the untrained eye. Like mine :P I thought BrownMan actually FOUND something for a minute XD Well done, brethren!

Frog - April 7, 2005 09:02 PM (GMT)
Actually, I think that is some nice Photoshoping.
It beats my poor skill with more than a hand full.
You’ve done a good job with the releasing from other pics. What tool did you use?
Magic Wand, Mask or Extract?

Good Job!

BrownMan - April 7, 2005 09:06 PM (GMT)
my own method.
Mask >> Pen tool >> Loop (non magnetic) >>Mask Overlay! awesome results!

Knives101 - April 8, 2005 12:16 AM (GMT)
 Nice work brown, i almost believed it for a second.

WolfPack - April 9, 2005 04:49 AM (GMT)
Heya, nice job. Where'd you get the image of Gleen though? Theres no CG that shows him like that.

BrownMan - April 9, 2005 06:46 PM (GMT)
hehehehe

GalaxyFalcon - April 9, 2005 10:24 PM (GMT)
Good Answer.

Knives101 - April 11, 2005 05:41 AM (GMT)
 probably from a fanart site like Icybrians fanart or The Otaku .
