I just heard about this tonight. So forgive me for being naive, but I have to get this straight, so tell if this is true:

This team plans to remake Chrono Trigger into a fully-functional game using a 3D engine without any affiliation with Square-Enix, thus essentially violating a copyright law which means that, given the right circumstances, Square-Enix could stop this at any time? And it's supposed to be free?

I just have one thing to say to you people...

Its ok to post what you want, just remember to try not to talk about that stuff unless its in one of those topics where everything is being said(check out news, town center, and ideas, those have the most) or unless you absolutly have to. They are trying not to be noticed by Square, but if a C&D comes, they have said that there is nothing they can do but stop the project.

Which would be a mega bummer. Maybe if that happened, they could do a 3d version of RD without being noticed. :lol: :D :lol:

It would be interesting to see all 9 ending in 3d; to to mention the entire game.

In the end, if you ask I, Chrono Trigger is one of those classics that's here to stay. Whether it's continued in aseries or not. You dig?
