Title: Lucca's Lost Gun
Description: The 50% gun that cannot be aquired...

I was wondering if anyone else every noticed this. I know almost every inch of Chrono Trigger, as I'm sure we all do, but one day I was looking through the game's info using a Hex Editor and I stumbled across a gun that I'd never seen before. Here's the info on it:
Name: Graedus
User: Lucca
Attack: 60
Special: Cuts enemey's HP by 1/2

There's also this, which I may simply just miss everytime, but I find that hard to believe since I bought a guide a long long time ago...

Name: PicoMagnum
User: Lucca
Attack: 20
Special: None

Name: Dark Saber
User: Crono
Attack: 50
Special: None

Also something to note, even with all these added items I've found, there are 5 pages (5 Ls) of empty items still....

There are two other accessories that I don't know about either: the Relic, and the SeraphSong.

Anyone else find these items and what do they do?

I believe the Graedus is from FF2 or 3 (US)... and the Relic and SeraphSong? Either they had a plan for them and just scrapped it at some point, or they were key items for parts of the game that they didn't have time to finish (I've heard people describe CT as an unfinished game, meaning they had more that they wanted to put in, but not enough time).

maybe that would describe all those random tasks at the end

SeraphSong...gosh, that sounds familiar. I could've sworn I've seen that item in another game somewhere, as a one-use Auto-Revive accessory or something...

Is there a way to obtain these items through a cheat device, like a Game Genie or Pro Action Replay?

And which version of Chrono Trigger did you find the items in: the original SNES game or the PSX version?

From what I was told, the PSX version is just an emulated version of the SNES one, so it should be on there too. And yes, you can get the items (and all the others) through a cheat code. Go to www.gamefaqs.com and there is a codebreaker code at Word-of-Nintendo that gives you almost every item after a battle (takes a while for the game to load them.

That's how I first found them. It's easiest to do this with an Emulator (I'd use Zsnes, personally).

 Maybe the seraphsong is like the sister gun to the valkerie___ whatever that marle uses, and they decided it was to corny to use in the game. The relic sounds familiar.... I know there is a item or something with a similar name to that in the game.

I don't believe the Seraphsong is supposed to be a weapon in CT, but an accessory.
But the Relic and the Seraphsong sound like items from a Final Fantasy game... maybe 6 or 7? (doesn't Red XIII have a Seraph-something weapon?)

I bet these 5 items were just ideas that they didn't get to put into the game...

Anyway, nice info, Siriusd :)

about the emulator business, i wouldn't recommend znes, lol, dude I can only put 1 line of a code in there, and sometimes not enough space either so, i'd recommend using snesx9 or something like that, anyways breakfast is ready :D

Actually i've heard of the dark saber. I don't believe it made the final cut.... Although rumors seem to run rampid.
