Title: Multiplayer Maps

Since it seems you are doing this in Unreal 2004 anyways, why not release a multiplayer map or a few to build a bit of hype.

From the looks of it, the Millenial Fair might be an interesting place with tents and such to hide ammo and weapons.

It's not really the full mod, but it's certainly something to enjoy in the meantime.

yeah zldude I agree. if they release the millenia fair mini part as a m,ap (just for a teaser), then we can play team deatch match on it :D . i got my Ut2k4 ready!.....unless the maps ut2k3??? :o

 Suppose I could see some multiplayer maps, like in the black omen when your passing all the floating characters in the tubes.... speaking of which I never quite understood that scene anyone care to explain?

Celera - January 19, 2005 08:26 AM (GMT)
I wish I could explain that one perfectly, but I always thought that it might be that Zeal defeated them in another reality, and has their bodies there as trophies... Or maybe it could represent that their fates are tied directly to Lavos, whom Zeal is also tied to. Or maybe she's just cloning them for some evil reason. I'm not sure. Maybe that's something we could try to figure out and explain? I always believe that the Japanese super guide might hold the answer to this question. It's probably a side quest that they never fleshed out. The strange thing is that they have Chrono there, even if you go to fight Zeal without having ressurected him.

As for multiplayer maps, I'd say use them carefully. Big places like the hunting grounds in 65,000,000 BC and Lab 32 may be cool.

 Theres always something in a game thats there just to be question cause theres no way it could make sense unless described specificaly by the creator.

Celera - January 19, 2005 07:10 PM (GMT)
That's sure a weird thing to make secret, though. O__O Unless the people who designed Zeal's room just thought it looked cool...

Knives - January 19, 2005 09:59 PM (GMT)
I think that's a wonderful idea. That Black Omen room, with some slight modifications, would rock for a 1on1 deathmatch map (best way to play UT2004! :D) Speaking of that room, I don't know about that either. It might be a good question to pose to ZealitY.

The hunting grounds would also be a lot of fun, as well as some parts of Magus' Castle, and the section of the factory in 2300 AD (the first one you visit) where the conveyor belt is.

Oh, and maybe the dungeon in Guardia Castle? There are lots of windows to climb out of and walls to hide behind. ^^

Knives101 - January 20, 2005 09:20 AM (GMT)
 The prison would be a good one, you could go out side through that secret hole in the toilet and see how high you are actually up.
Yer probably right, just there cause they looked cool. But I still like to beleive theres something more behind it. Like cloning or something, maybe thats how Norstien Bekkler got the clones(or dolls) of all the characters.
