Hi!

I love the site and the ideas behind it! I love to see old favorites come back alive, either from the company that originally created them or by fan works.

The site is great; a smooth interface and wonderful recreation of the original game music. It took about 8 minutes for anything to appear on the site at all (got a prompt asking me to install Macromedia Shockwave/Flash) and then it only took about 30 minutes to download the site, which is entirely flash-based. And since the music plays at the same time it downloads, the first time around came in increments of pauses.

If only everybody had easy access to and/or could afford broadband. However, there are still a lot of people who can't, and it helps any site to consider them, too. It looks like the webmaster intended to have an "HTML" version of the site -- on the bottom of the "present" version of the site, there's a line of text that says,

If you are having difficulties viewing this page or wish to use a 'HTML only' page, please go here

But there's no link inside that line of text! No other link to an HTML only version of the site is apparent.

What percentage of your users still use low-bandwidth connections? This good site can get only better if you include them in the rest of the fun now.

I think they're still working on the html version.

Expect the HTML version very soon...

I'm sorry for all the trouble caused, it was our intention to have the HTML when we opened the site, but it kinda got delayed.
However I can add that Rorae is recently working, when he is free, on the HTML version and we'll include it online very soon.

It will be possible by then to change either from the Time Gauge on the top of the site ( by selecting the last option on the far right, the End of Time ) or by using the bottom shortcut.

I'm not minding the "wait", though maybe that's because I'm at work where it goes much faster (pretty sure it's a barely-shared T1 connection) than my dial-up at home. :)

Oh yeah, and I'm new here at the forums, was reading here yesterday and finally decided to join here. I'm a University student (taking CompSci) on a co-op work term (In IS dept.), and I wish I could help you guys, I'm just far too busy with my life right now. Was bored yesterday, was looking up CT stuff, that and FF3 (6-J of course), and happened to come across this site. I have to say I really love what I've seen here, this is awesome.

On a side note, I'm just wondering, I can't seem to get any of the music posted on the main site. I get server errors every time, as well as because it's flash I can't just right-click and hit "Save Target As..".

Hey,
Thanks for your feedback!

Yes, you're right, it is heavy for low-bandwidth because of all the media and queries.
It was my intention to release a lighter version of the site using the last theme but personal issues delayed it.
Earlier this week i started working on the html version, its available now, no fancy animations or music but I did my best to make it as visually pleasing as any other theme.

The other themes have suffered a slight optimization, and the community's reactions are taken in consideration for future changes.
note: Music is predefined as "off" at the page load, its not advised to turn it on during loading because the streaming could choke the rest of the loading.

Also... Thorlius, you can use the link on a downloader but that won't be necessary anymore since all musics have been zipped to ease the downloads.
Thank you for ur feedback also.

Any other comments/opinions are welcome!

YAY! Now I can actually visit the web site for the game I'm helping make! Nice job with the design too Rorae, it looks very cool and loads quickly, even over my AOL connection.
