Yea well you know what, it pisses me off when I hear this because they already sent the cease and decist notice. What do you mean were "borderline". It's past that ok. They don't even want the project made anymore and it's not like they'll just all of the sudden say "oh ok I guess, just this once". No not gonna happen. It doesn't matter what we do to it, Square officialy said no. I hate that but stop saying it's supposed to be a replica, they don't want it, they don't care so it's not like they're going to care if we make little different extras.

Our project didn't recieve a C+D notice.
That was the Chrono Trigger Resurrection project.
This is a bit depressing, as I would have been playing it the moment that it was released to the public.

As for our project, this is a remake. Not many people seem to understand the nature of a remake.
This game will be not be an exact copy of the original (we will make changes where we see the need) - but we will not be making any drastic changes - such as changing the nature of the battle system.
(We believe that Square had a very solid battle system, and we see no reason to change it.)


Please feel free to post any ideas you have for the game, but make sure to keep a couple things in mind:

-Do not be upset if we do not incorporate your ideas. That doesn't mean that your idea was bad - we usually have a variety of reasons for doing (and not doing) what we do.

-Please be sure to check previous forum topics to see if the idea has already been brought up. I for one know that there have already been way too many topics concerning changes to the battle system...

Actually, I thought that at first because that's what everyone was telling me.

It also didn't help that just before I heard about the C+D the old version of this website went offline, or at least I couldn't access it.

Then a month later I came back to have another look, obviously expecting to find nothing there, I found this website as it is now and a whole lot of posts complaining about squenix.
