I would like to join the Level Design Division. I love CT and have experience with unrealed 3/maya/3ds/photoshop 7 and a ton of other apps. I have made a few small mods and levels in the past but didnt do much with them. I excel in nature/landscape scenes so Dactyl's Nest-Enchanted Woods and places like that would be good for me. I can do indoor scenes as well. I have UT2003 but plan on getting 2004 soon. You can check out some concept stuff of a mod i was working on at

http://www.geocities.com/utopiaonlinegame

and my personal/art gallery at

http://www.joshsdigitalcreations.com

Alezunde - July 26, 2004 11:52 AM (GMT)
Fantastic work you have there, zeekpunk!
Having someone who can do outdoor scenes like that in UnrealEd will be a valuable asset, seeing how there are so many outdoor areas in the game.

TheBrain - July 26, 2004 02:36 PM (GMT)
Approved! *thumbs up*

Knives - July 26, 2004 10:41 PM (GMT)
Very nice work there zeekpunk, I am impressed with your mapping skills. It's good we have someone who's good with terrain, because I'm not exactly a pro at it, lol. I pmed you to request an interview but seeing as how you seem to be on the team already, I guess it is no longer necessary.

Welcome to the team!

Chuckles - July 27, 2004 01:56 AM (GMT)

Heya fellas

I'm an art guy, but I have to work on gettin my artwork into computer, but I'll have a site to give you guys not too far off.
I'm in the midst of learning C++, and have done quite a lot of Basic programming of, well, programs, and some limited game programming.
That stuff, however, is unfinished, and may be a wqhile in the making =`

I'll be back!
=`

Knives - August 2, 2004 06:22 PM (GMT)
Oh great, a coder! Do you have MSN? Put me on your contact list:

hadoken54@hotmail.com

Thanks!

CTRP Lead Mapper

mad.hatter - August 2, 2004 11:04 PM (GMT)
My MSN is

shadar_glenn@msn.com

Im on at basically any time, its anyone's guess. =)

Knives - August 3, 2004 04:37 PM (GMT)
Okay mad.hatter, I have added you to my contact list. We won't be needing coders for a fairly good while, not until we finish some certain things. Unfortunately, as lead mapper, I am not in charge of hiring a coder/artist such as yourself. However the next time I am able to talk to him I'll put in the good word to Brain for you.

mad.hatter - August 5, 2004 05:44 AM (GMT)
Thanks, Knives. =)

I guess that in the meantime I'll try and find a way to upload those Alchemist pictures i drew for all you fellas.
((btw, lookin around at the art and WIP, this is some pretty *nice* stuff!!))

Gopher - August 25, 2004 07:57 PM (GMT)
Hey guys. You've probably seen me floating around the music part, so I may as well offer my services if you deem it necessary and if I match up. email me if you're interested or just curious. Keep note that I do orchestrals and not much else due to software sample limitations (soon to be solved pending the end of this job and start of the next). gopher@heatwave.co.uk

Looking good guys.

Chrono822 - August 28, 2004 04:38 PM (GMT)
:ph43r: Hey Guys, names danny and i have a few questions I need to know if I can learn what programs you guys are useing so i can try to master them and start to help out. Chrono Trigger was my life when I was a kid and I would do anything to help you guys make this come true and to make sure that anything i would help with Would not be halfassed on my part. I have alot of free time on my hands so I would work on this stuff non stop around to clock and i have very skilled in java programing I own Unreal 2k4 and Will do whatever it takes to help this team obtain its goals

Terrato - August 31, 2004 11:02 PM (GMT)
As much as I love this game (If it were human I would marry it, man or woman, if that gives you any idea) (Im a guy btw) I have no experience with anything that can be of help :-(. But I thought you guys would like to know (In case you don't already) that your not the only ones doing this kind of thing. There is another group out there doing this sort of thing to. Maybe you two can combine your projects to create something spectacular...
http://www.opcoder.com/projects/chrono/ is the address for the page of the project. If you do, or if you don't, I still look forward with great anticipation to the completion of them!

Alezunde - September 4, 2004 06:56 AM (GMT)
We've been keeping close tabs on those talented guys over at CT: Resurrection. :)
There are also quite a number of other CT-related projects that we know about.

-Alezunde

P.S. Let's try to keep this thread open for people interested in joining the team.

Aike - September 5, 2004 07:37 PM (GMT)
Hiya dudes Im Fernando Im a dubber.I just found the site and wanted to ask if need voices for the characters?I can make sound effects too.
My mail: aike@walla.com

TheBrain - September 5, 2004 09:17 PM (GMT)
Unfortunatly there's a very small chance that we will do voice acting in our remake.

We don't have conditions and voices to do something with quality...

Aike - September 5, 2004 09:49 PM (GMT)
Well I have a group of talented dubbers whith me if u want.Voices like shoutin: LUMINAIRE etc..

TheBrain - September 5, 2004 09:55 PM (GMT)
If we decide to try using them in the future we will contact you, it' s a little too soon.

Aike - September 5, 2004 10:02 PM (GMT)
Okiedokie!Anyway.Need a musician?

kang_holion - September 15, 2004 04:46 AM (GMT)
Hi, I was originally planning to help you guys with models and textures, but I need a new CPU, so in the meantime I can help with character design and such. I've taken drafting and have modeled characters before for 3D projects so I'm sure I can be of some help. To see some of my stuff go to here: :My Art

There's also 3D pics of something I made for my final high school project, but it's outdated to what I can do now. Hope to hear from you guys.

Knives - September 15, 2004 07:20 PM (GMT)
Your sketches are very good! I really like your art style as well, it's dark but doesn't look like it's trying overly hard to be that way (which is a good thing.)

I haven't seen any models yet, but I will mention you to the team at the next meeting.

azeroth272 - September 17, 2004 04:50 PM (GMT)
Hey Guys, I just found about this project a few days ago, and when I did I got chills all throughout my body. I've been waiting for something like this for a while. Chrono Trigger is my favorite game and just the thought of a remake makes me so happy. I really want to get involved some how with project, but unfortunately my skills aren't anywhere at the moment, but I just started attending the University of Advancing Technology in Arizona studying game design, so hopefully my skills will begin to increase soon. Plus, this project of yours has put my motivation way up.

I plan on buying Unreal Tournament 2004 soon so I can mess around with the editor, and hopefully someday, I'll be able to contribute to the project. Also, there's a sound booth I could use at the school if you do decide to use any voice acting for attacks or whatever, as well as a Motion Capture Setup. And I think as students we're allowed to use this stuff if needed.

Alezunde - September 17, 2004 08:22 PM (GMT)
As in... full body motion capture equipment?

-Alezunde

TheBrain - September 17, 2004 08:31 PM (GMT)
 Mmmm.... Motion Capture.... *drools*....

SSJoseph - September 17, 2004 08:42 PM (GMT)
Brain...I didnt know you was like that ;)

But if you have motion equipment...I have a use for it.
I am starting A project also...So IM me if they say they dont need it :)

azeroth272 - September 19, 2004 11:41 PM (GMT)
Yes, full body motion capture. I believe the school received it from Rainbow Studios after they upgraded their equipment. I'm not yet sure about access to it, but everything else at the school is pretty much there for the students to use when they want to. And I think it was set up not too long ago, maybe a couple weeks ago, so using it soon would probably not be a possibility, but for this project, that doesn't even seem like an issue.

Alezunde - September 20, 2004 03:51 AM (GMT)
Full body motion capture is sexy...
I'm busy with college right now, but as soon as I can I will contact you.

-Alezunde

VicksCornatto - September 20, 2004 09:37 PM (GMT)
Hello! This is Paul (Vicks Cornatto) you probably cought my terrible remix on OCRemix. I would like to help out with music. But not sure if it's too early to be worried about music and sound effects. I can work with midi, or I can make really high quality recordings. I have a band that I can tap for some musical skills... I my self can create techno music, wich outside the future times, wont be too handy. But what I'd really like to do is create a good music theme for prehistoric times, I play many hand percussion instruments, and have some good quality music recording equipment as well. Let me know if you are interested... I'll try getting you a sample if you need one. Oh, and if you honestly think that my remix is good.... you need to hire me, because I am soooo much better now! That was 4 years ago, when I first started working with music!!!

*side questian* Will I see the completion of this in my life time? Hehe... it's not the end result, but the journey that counts right!?!?

VicksCornatto - September 20, 2004 09:38 PM (GMT)
oh, and I"m not sure when I'll check back to this site next... so if you could email me about this that would be great! VCornatto@juno.com

M u Z i K - September 23, 2004 03:50 PM (GMT)

QUOTE (M u Z i K @ Sep 23 2004, 03:50 PM)
I can do texture design

Ummm...we kinda' need a little more information, like contact info, examples of your work, previous work, etc. Please, elaborate!

M u Z i K - September 23, 2004 08:32 PM (GMT)
hmmm I dun really have examples... but how do I upload images here?? anyways my email is dynafrom02@hotmail.com and I use 3D gamestudio and use photoshop to create the textures and upload them to the object

Pianoguru6 - September 24, 2004 09:28 AM (GMT)
If the project is still going on I would be extremely interested in sound and music design i have a degree in music and love this game. I already can play some of the tunes on the game like the map world music to 600 ad and 1200ad.

M u Z i K - September 24, 2004 02:57 PM (GMT)
add me on msn and we can chat whoever is doing music

VicksCornatto - September 24, 2004 06:07 PM (GMT)
Just give me a project, and I'll do it... you decide if you like it or not... side note: I am a hand percussionist.... so my plan is to play in the prehistoric songs. I have a lot of recording equipment 8 tracks of direct recording 24 bit... ect ect. I would love to add my two cents in on this project, even if I don't become a full fledged music designer for this song, wich it seems John is doing a wonderful job. I just figured I"d give a hand where ever needed. If you are still hard core set on me giving you an example... let me know, I'll record some stuff that I can do with hand percussion... but I don't see the need for try outs here. It's a fan game, and I'd be too shy to even add my self into this if I wasn't good... anyway. Let me know~ (sorry for all the ramboling... I'm good for that!)

Knives - September 26, 2004 01:15 AM (GMT)
Here's the thing though: we don't really allow people to do just like a few jobs. When you work on CTRP, you are part of our team. You regularly go to the meetings, give criticism and ideas, and have your fair share of work. So if you want to help, make sure you are in it for the long haul.
