Most people from the other projects are like 16-21. Thats probably a similar estimate here. I am 15, but just an interested fan.

Chuckles - July 14, 2004 03:42 AM (GMT)

the guys from the demo project are all around 22-25.

TheBrain - July 26, 2004 02:38 PM (GMT)
I think it's the work that counts, not the age.

zeekpunk - July 27, 2004 10:12 AM (GMT)
im 20

Crono.X - July 27, 2004 05:17 PM (GMT)
im turning 12 in about a month....but it's not the age that counts.......i was starting a demo for games when i was 10 so i REALLY dont think its the age.....o and that coment about what a bunch of children......i really resent that <_<

Yea, that just proves how stupid he is, thats like thinking a 13 year-old can't read.

zeekpunk - July 28, 2004 06:05 AM (GMT)
i wish i had gotten into this stuff when i was alot younger. age means nothing really its your skill and perspective that matter.

ChronoTriggerArtist - July 29, 2004 04:28 PM (GMT)
Im 16

Knives - July 31, 2004 04:42 PM (GMT)
Yeah age doesn't really matter. I've produced nine of what I think are pretty good maps for UT2003/2004, most of which have been well received in the community, and know a ton about the Unreal Engine, and I'm only 15 (on Tues.)

firestarterut - August 2, 2004 10:35 AM (GMT)
Hey knives are you that guy that is really good at Temple Of Trialsv3?

Knives - August 2, 2004 07:35 PM (GMT)
No, actually I am horrible at ToT. What is your Unreal name, anyway?

Vash72 - August 3, 2004 04:22 PM (GMT)
Well as my contribution to this thread I am 19, as hard to believe as that is :P
I totally agree with age not being an important facter in fact I am awed by the work this team has done. I may not have much talent, but I can recognise talent and everyone on the CTRP has it. If I could do the sort of things this team was doing I would be very proud.

Cheers,

Vash

Trigun - August 5, 2004 09:45 AM (GMT)
stupid SPAM call me a child
(im gonna shave his dog)

Bedryn - August 8, 2004 08:58 PM (GMT)
Wow, Zeekpunk is a senior citizen compared to everyone else here.

Age doesn't matter, and the younger you get into this stuff, the better you will be later. I am 17 and I have been trying my hand at making games since I was 12. I have tried so many different programs and stuff, put years of my life into it, and yet have never finished a single project. It takes a community like this, that works together and supports each other, offering ideas and criticism when needed, to create anything that is worthwhile.

Alezunde - August 8, 2004 11:05 PM (GMT)
Actually, it'll be pretty funny when our younger team members have a more impressive resume at the age of 19 than most adults.

Jack - August 10, 2004 04:51 PM (GMT)
Someone has to guess my age ;)

I always like to keep it a mystery.

John - August 10, 2004 04:55 PM (GMT)
I'm 19... and I wish I started doing stuff with music before I turned 18. : (

Ah well.

And this diversity in age and background that we have here is one of the brighter sides of the internet. It's amazing how many people can come together once most fo the superficial aspects of life are put aside.

Knives101 - August 10, 2004 11:18 PM (GMT)
 Jack I'm gonna say your..... 20...

Bedryn - August 10, 2004 11:25 PM (GMT)
I'd guess 16 or 17, but I really have no idea.

bLiNd - August 11, 2004 06:10 PM (GMT)
Im also 19, turn 20 this saturday. Music has been apart of my life since i was about 3 hehe. I got a bunch more tracks done btw :)

propagator4 - August 12, 2004 07:51 AM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure Jack is keeping his age a secret because he is too ashamed to admit that he forgot it, and has no clue how old he is. That seems like the logical explanation to me, anyway...

Actually... I believe Jack is 19.

Chuckles - August 12, 2004 09:04 PM (GMT)
My guess, is that Jack is anywhere between 13-16. No offense if I am waaaaay off lol, but If I am right, please tell me. I don't wanna think about it too much lol.

It's Fire Starter

firestarterut - August 13, 2004 06:16 AM (GMT)
What's your name Knives?

Knives - August 13, 2004 08:44 PM (GMT)
Knives. lol. Sometimes I go by Ryoushi...but don't tell anyone that.

firestarterut - August 14, 2004 03:18 AM (GMT)
Yeah that's why I asked because there is a guy named Knives that just rocks at tot. I'm good but I don't think I'm better than him. I can complete all six tombs in about ten minutes or less.
